We're about the same age. I recall my dad taking home movies of us at Dinner Key and the seaplanes that year. It's so very neat to see the Cape Florida Lighthouse once again exactly as we recall it: the beach erosion had put water almost up to the base of the then-unpainted tower. The little girl at 0:43 is a dead ringer for what my sister looked like at the time. She was 3 & I was 7. In '65 we were down the road at Homestead AFB. Florida was so much more rural then.
Fish were abundant in the shoreline in them days. Now if you catch a 7oz grunt you are lucky.
