STUPID JUST PLAIN STUPID THIS IS NOT A SHOW THIS IS REAL LIFE AND SHOULD BE KEPT BEHIND CLOSED DOORS NOT A REALITY SHOW GOD GIVE ME A SANE WORLD JUST ONE TIME THANK GOD I CANCELED CABLE OR I WOULD THROW MY TV OUT THE WINDOW ONCE AND FOR ALL THIS WORLD IS A MESS SEND ROUND A HUGE GARBAGE TRUCK AND CLEAN IT UP!!!!!!
I tell you who could put Ryan Oneal in his place: Steve Wilcos. Yeah Ryan is a real tough guy. He can beat up his own daughter! Too bad Ryan doesn't try to hit me instead. I'll teach him a thing or two about hitting women.
I saw this show and Ryan O Neal to my surprise seems like a nice guy and he's funny. He wants to help his daughter, but she's such a sad sack....I think she's hopeless. She really needs to let go the past, forgive her father and get a little joy in her life
@Andreas748 i AGREE. Ryan has his prblems but for Pete's sake he's an OLD MAN who is trying to make his daughter happy it seems to me! I saw him take A LOT of blame for things . She got mad that he would not admit To EVERYTHING. I don't know...I think hes funny too.
The Opray Network is phenomenal. The selection of choosing the highly intelligent Ryan father and daughter team will bring us intriguing drama. The solutions will be questionable as the truth unfolds. Opray is teaching us that not one family in America is left unscathed by the intricacies of modern American living. Wholeheartedly we thank you Opray for undeniable abilities to uncover our personalities with grace and dignity bravo.
ryan is a narcissist. he thinks only of himself. he didnt think that maybe a father should out the welfare of his kids first.
i went through the same thing with my mom. all my life she came first. i came second. i had to beg for her attention for years. she always made me feel like i was the one who was raising her. she could treat me terribly and i was just supposed to forget about it. but if i did the slightest thing wrong, she made sure i never forget it.
i know how tatum feels. i went through this. only not with my dad, with my mom.
i kept wanting her to be the mother i thought she should be. and every time she hurt me i held on to the resentment. for years we were enstranged, only to speak again for a short while, only to be estanged again.
after a while, i just accepted it. i accepted her for the way she was, and i knew i would never change her or make her any less narcissistic or selfish. thats the way she was.
Sorry, dont know why it posted twice. I would also like to say, if the picture over Ryan's bed of Farrah is worth 30 million all the more reason that only 2 people should have the right to own it, Ryan or Redman... Farrah did, for whatever reason share off and on more than twenty years with him and a son so I feel other than Redman or Ryan, no one has the right to speak on her behalf. Tatum on the other hand, seems to be a special person herself, hope everything works out.
Great story. Ryan reminds me of my father. He shared over twenty years of his life with Farrah and sahre a son, if he has gained from her death in any way, it is not for us to judge. Griffin says, he see's no tears, no matter what Ryan has a void in his life and has lost a wonderful person and who is to say how or how much a person is to cry or act when you lose a loved one and I do believe she was a loved one.
I wish Tatum would see she is playing with fire. Ryan is charming & unfeeling. He will lie & put the burden of blame on her every single time. I wish the people who were around them when she was young would come forward to tell her about her dad. The things he did back then hurt her and now he won't take ownership, in fact, he insinuates she is crazy. The things he did made her insecure & unstable. Being with him is not worth risking her sobriety over. Peace be with her.
I just heard her interviewed on Howard Stern today, I'll tune in just because she was really honest on the best interviewer on the planet...Howard Stern.
Tatum O'Neal is one of the strongest, bravest and incredible women around. Having had an abusive narcissistic parent, from whom I am still estranged, my heart goes out to her. I am happy for her that she has her newfound strength.
But she needs to keep that father of hers at arm's distance. He's toxic.
They have the Sheen family beat.
