It is ridiculous that education is so expensive in the U.S. Tuition should not be so expensive that parents have to have two jobs to send their children to school, as well as have a decent living. Parents should scout for the least expensive schools, and boycott the more expensive ones. As long as their children get an accredited degree, that is all that matters. If they want to further their education when they are older, that is up to them. Parents have to save for their own retirement.

Why cant we get a bill passed that will fund any, and all those with low income who desire to og to college!! Government can fund our education, just like our healthcare!! It can all be paid for by increasing taxes on the rich! Add fees to any who use fossile fuels to heat our cars, or heat our homes!! Raise tax rates on 401k retirement accounts, and disqualify retirees from receiving Social Security benefits if they already receive a pension or retirement account savings!!

Listening to what the republicans want to cut, in order to bring down the deficit is really scary!! Not only do they want to get rid of our healthcare. They want to get rid of head start programs, school lunch, cut funding for education, serious cuts in medicare, cuts in providing police protection!! Many economists are saying that these republican cuts will hurt working families, but the Obama plan is a much better idea!!! Who are these loons who voted for all these repubs in the mid term???

The republicans have no plan to cut debt. All they have are lies. They work for multinational conglomerates that want to cash in on America. Their goal is to make as much money as fast as they can without paying taxes and that is it. They will borrow America into a deep hole then take their profits to Dubai or the Cayman Islands. They don't care about America, they care about themselves and money.

If this is a gross negative that sums to 500 Billion after 10 years compared to the last decade's spending habits, then this is an incredible benefit.
To give an idea, the deficit has increased by a minimum of 500 Billion every year since 2003. Removing /just/ that, equates to 5 Trillion. The current admin has spent 3.1 Trillion in excess of this terrible norm. In effect, they are cutting more than 1.9 Trillion more what they've spent. Obama is paying for both himself and the last Bush term.

Best plan for stopping deficit:
-Lower salaries for senators/congressmen
-Demolish military bases in foreign countries
-Bring back troops from Afghanistan within the next few years
-Raise income tax on those earning >$300,000/year to 50%
-New income tax bracket- 65% tax on those earning >$1,000,000/year
-Lower corporation tax to 25% (attempt to lower corruption, bring innovation back to America)
-Encourage municipal sewage to be converted to methane biogas instead of polluting the land and water

Your intentions on collecting an insanely high amount of money actually pushes that money out of the country. If they want to make more than that amount of income, they'll funnel it through EU, Japan ect to avoid your childish views on money flow.

in holland here, we have that (still living here) and most of the people that earn a high amount of money from their payceck leave to other countries.
these people are the doctors, engineers etc. and you need those people.
