If the park is only a lake for half a year, and the water comes from the melted snow of the mountains above it, then how are there fish in it? How do fish possibly get there?
@emobunny38 because its a lake thats why its called green lake but when the snow from the mountains melts that water covers the dry part of the park joining with the water from the lake ......
@THISISNIDDY Oh ok. That makes a lot of sense. I didn't know there was an actual lake nearby. I just assumed they called it green lake because of the flooding of the park turning it into a lake.
Ok Im sorry to ruin the beauty, because it certainly is beautiful. But my fucking god...the highhat cymbal being offbeat from like 3:00 til around the very end is killing it.
as i stumbled upon this video, clutter by ronald jenkees came up on my pandora, it was perfect for the vid....open up clutter by ronald jenkees in another tab and watch this video on mute.
It's very pretty now... but all I can think about is how the poor plants are gonna handle being under water when they aren't designed to be. And ya know, rotted wood benches, etc. Is that sad? heh.
Honestly, as interested as I am in this place, this was by far the most boring 'movie' i've ever watched. Lost me in the first 30 seconds and I fastforwarded most of it, hoping it would get better. No such luck. Snooze.
@rayofsun79 Not enough fast paced action, nudity, or explosions for you? Why not try enjoying it for what it is. A video sharing an amazingly beautiful occurance in nature! There are many ways to appreciate the natural world, and they don't always have to involve going fast. Try it sometime :D
@rayofsun79 Just try to imagine being there yourself- that's the whole point of these kind of videos. If you were there underwater, in a scuba suit, watching fish swim around above-ground flowers and park benches, you'd be amazed.
this video brought a tear to my eye, that has to be one of the most beeautiful, tranquil places on earth, i would certainly love to visit this lake before i die <3
Keep yours to yourself, not everyone has the means or desire to dive wherever they want. If you are a professional diver, assume you are the only one currently viewing this video.
how boring...visibility might be better than most lakes but there is nothing interesting to see
go diving to the sea if you want a good diving experience and not to boring lakes..you will see so many beautifull creatures you would never see in a lake
@alexsotirakis idiot, the visibility is not what makes it beautiful. it's the contrast of the normalcy and the abnormalcy. the things you usually see above surface is now under it, e.g. the benches and the bridge. it's so strange to see, yet so beautiful. but if you don't want to see this, don't. if you'd rather go diving in the ocean, you do that. remember tho, the ocean will stay the same .. try to catch the flooded lake some other time. mhm, exactly.
fantastic but judging by the visablity and shallowness it might of been easyer to snorkal it, but yeah wow that water is so clear and the underwater meadow so surreal.
Hauntingly beautiful. We are trying to save a gorgeous dry meadow in College Park, Maryland, USA, outside Washington, D.C. Never imagined an underwater one! -meadowhugger
Very unique! Usually that green color comes from waters rich in silcates from eroding rock. I once had to take a bath in 5 C water, it was excrutiating so I feel for the diver. The meadow must have been on a stream for the trout to be there. Anyone who would like to swim in this clear water year around might come visit with us.

Continued....for Beautiful
Just consider me a voice on the CB in your Big Rig that's racing cross the country under the black of night.
With only the moon in yer rearview and the stars are nothin but the tiny voices of tomorrow.
Meaning, you and I we square, nothing owed.
Think about that.
Nothing owed.
If we never tap at each other again,
at least we made each other smile, laugh and think.
That's it. That's all.
