  • It sounds more like 'Go West' but its still a nice tune, just not L42? Still coo

  • Who is the astounding beauty appearing at 2:44?

My God: I've never seen a girl like that!

    She's WONDERFUL!

  • who is the astounding beauty appearing at 2:44. My God: she's WONDERFUL!

  • Holy shit, just when you thought the Godly Level 42 couldn't get any more awesome, they shock and awe every one of us with this sweet, sweet ballad. Pure aural sex. Sex me in my ears, Mark King.

  • I love all their albums... ALL of them. But, I love this album more than the rest. It just works for me. Every tune's a homerun in my opinion!

  • gee,Mark,,, anyhow how is the irland going...? 14 yrs how r the kids? ttfn tc

  • We know who the 'big bang' on the bass is....Mike Lindup is also much appreciated for both his musicianship and support to Mark--that falsetto never gets old--like Level 42's sound!!!

  • But i live forever, or i feel like.. U may live forever!

  • Masters

  • wow this is cool

  • how was THIS on my recommended for you section?!

  • Mark swears by Status bass.

  • I like this song because it crosses R and B with jazz and Mr. King looks so great in the red chair....

  • Phil Gould, see, hear and feel the most inspirational drummer, you master, while everyone one else wishes to follow. thanks for the being the BEST

  • wow... sounds like Brand new heavies.. or maybe all british acid jazz bands in 90's copied Level 42

  • for sure!!!

  • this video music is the best I know!

  • Simply Great !...

  • great

  • brilliance from an amazing band!!!

  • Is he playing a Status Empathy? I didn't know he used those.

  • Damn, Mark can jam on that bass!!!

  • Yeah Mark King is king of basses.

  • HOW DOES HE DO THAT ON THE BASS???

  • I so wanna make out with Mark.

  • Woooow....great performing in this video and high quality of sound. i don't ever met with this song, great surprise!!

  • Marking is my bassist idol...!!!

  • only one word to describe this song......

    FANTASTIC!!!!!!

  • Wow, I like this one

  • Marco

    Genau das...the Best of 80-90's.

    Tolle Musik,tolle Videos,...unbeschwerte Musik :-)

  • I love Level 42!!!!

I am a better professional musician

    thanks to them.

  • herrliches video!!! das waren die 80er!! Mark King hats einfach drauf!!

Level 42, ihr seid die besten!

  • i only just found out l 42 were playing in manchester i am sooooo gutted i am gonna see them in liverpool if i can get cash

  • Make sure this track is on the set for albert hall 23/10/08 gig Mark. Great track.

  • 0:54 jijijiji

  • ....I just hang on all this guys' bass lines....

  • Kick Ass...never seen this video...Thanks!!!!! Great Cut and Album!

  • Me too!!! It's a fantastic song, just like all others of Level 42! Thanks so much for uploading it!

  • The songs that give us spirit every morning when you wake up.

  • que cutre la pava que baila. pero el tema es increible.

  • wait so when was this made?

  • 1994

  • Yikes!...and I still listen to this all the time! Just got Retroglide and it kicks ass too! The older Level 42 gets the better their song writing becomes. Granted the bass isn't as out front, but Mark King is still playing his ass off and singing! Brilliant band...I hope they never stop making music. Now if they'd just play the states once in a while?

  • Put a message on their website - Mark and Mike read it regularly so you never know you might persuade them to do a few shows across the pond - good luck!

  • Scary thought - this song is almost 14 years old!!

  • eeeek!

  • And still sounds better than any of the garbage that you hear today in the U.S.

  • AMEN BROTHER, AMEN....

  • Heck yes, mate.

  • Love the horns, really perks us this song. This might have been the first time, Level 42 used a horn section. I think this is their best video as well!

  • jeezz i remember pebble mill i was in junior school at the time awesome

  • They should bring it back - if the BBC can fund crap programmes like Lilly Allen gobs off (sic.) then they can fund something decent like Pebble Mill. Only decent thing on BBC1 in the afternoon is Diagnosis Murder.

  • Superb funky and memorable. The best version of this was the live at Pebble Mill studios video,if any one can supply it.Never the less,a great track by an equally great group!

  • This is my best 90's

    memory ...

    ... the female dancers

    were so skillful and

    beautiful ....

    This one was a real

    musical group, with

    quality music!!!

  • A very good quality production on it's very own way ... Good music, beautiful and skillful female dancers, good set up on screen, a good band and a very good and memorable song ... ... in other words a remarkable and awesome video!!!!
  • whaaaaat??!! You MUST be kiddin'!!This vid blows. Why have King & Lindup sitting in chairs?? That is just stoopid-and they couldn't afford to bring in a drummer & guitarist? At least TRY to make it look they they might be ACTually be playin' somewhere. it just looks cheezey-like the vids you would see on MTV waaay back when

nobody had any idea what they were doing.

  • You must remember that at this point, Level 42 was pretty much Mark & Mike. Phil was on the album, but that was about it.

  • You have a point, to an extent - the video looks a bit 'sexed up' which isn't really Level 42s style (see the documentary Fait Complit) but the song itself is typical of the band - beautifully crafted and instantly memorable. I'm looking forward to seeing them in Cardiff, UK in October :D

  • Yes, probably something

out of James Bond Film ...

    Anyway, this is a clean,

    good quality and memorable

song, worthy of an Anthology ...

    Level 42 was definetely one

of the best 80's and 90's

    groups ....

... How much I miss them!!!

  • It's almost like something out of a James Bond movie...

  • Yep, still an oldie and difinatly a goodie, This is on my GREATEST HITS version. Thanks again, love finding the most unique videos.

  • yeah my friend its from their last album .. and phil did the drum work on there but wouldnt tour with them .. so its a bit like 3/4 of the original lineup on there at least :) .

  • I love this song I have all Level 42's CD's. Forevernow is one of their best albums since World Machine. In my opinon

  • One of my favorite albums/cds from them. I guess because Phil was the drummer on the tracks he put his touch on the songs. It kinda of went back to some of there old style with the jazzy, funky sounds to some of their songs. I wish Phil and Boon would come back. Thanx for the video post.

  • Wow, I like this one....havent seen a video for this one. Yep, really like it, thanks for sharing!

  • Just when you think you've seen pretty much all the things Lever 42 made, they surprise you again with a quite good video clip no less. I didn't like the song very much before seeing this video, but now I see what all the fuzz is about. Great style, definitely one of their better videos! Was this in the time where all the other guys already left? Because the cam focusses pretty much only on Mark & Mike in the videos from that time.

  • Phil Gould was studio drummer on this album in 1994, and as a fan of his work, I found it a downer that they didn't show him at all. Sharp drumming, tight sound!! - KLS

  • It was indeed - Boon and Phil left in late 1987, and Phil (according to Wikipedia) was less than complementary about the band's sound at the time, saying he'd get more fun playing songs like the ones they were making at a holiday camp.

Boon might come back, who knows, but Phil won't - him and Mark don't see eye to eye.

  • Haven't seen this one before - superb!! Another of my favourites!!

  • Didn't know there was a video for this song either....

  • ¡Qué guay! Nunca había visto este video. Gracias!!

  • thanks for sharing:D

  • truly fabulous.Laura

  • GRACIAS !!!

    XDDDD
