I get that some on the young gamers will never touch a game unless the graphics meet some kind of standard for the times, but to me a remake us not necessary, you loose the epic historical aspect.
play the original in all its glory and marvel at how this was achieved in 1989 (or was it 1988?).
I used to draw maps too! On graph paper was the easiest since you moved the same distance with each step. It took me forever to make those maps LOL, but it made things 100% easier to navigate.
What happened to this, although I think its a fake as it looks more like a rendered video.
I created a spell book for the original and used to draw maps too, takes me back a bit, i must have been about 10 when this came out so it must be 24 years old
@daboy3000k me too I loved the way you created your own spells in that game, and how you do so much interacting with the environment even throwing things into teleporters and they would continue flying out of the place they were teleported to! I've never seen that done again.
If this was real it would make me buy a a modern console. I'm not sure that FTL exist as a company anymore, I heard one of them set up a bycycle shop in San Francisco or somewhere a long time ago.
I played this on amiga! I loved these games and Black Crypt and EOTB Trlity and the other one Lands of Lore. And the awesome Ultima Underworld 1 & 2. :D
Lol good prank, this would make excellent April fools joke if they could make the graphics updated to current gen standards for consoles and the PC, guess I'll pull out my Atari ST then.
You know what they should bring back, guys?? AD&D: Warriors of The Eternal Sun, Eye of The Beholder and I'd love to see a second version of Paladin's Quest. If all these games came back on XBOX 360, PS3, or Wii, that would be awesome!!
@idiotzrule Grew up on that game. Remember watching my dad drawing out huge maps of the dungeons. Then he passed the maps onto me when I was old enough to play it. First time I saw a mummy, scared the daylights out me.
looks like "Fall of the house of usher' storybook maze(Westwood) a game with some good reading and a maze like this one plain ole torches plain ole stone mason and you click on a touch to go foreward after answering a "Edgar Allan Poe" trival question.
What a bunch of masturbating, fanservice crap. I am a fan of the real game, but 'chaos theory?' '20 years ago, and now a new quest begins?' A cheeseball, unclever fake.
I played the original Dungeon Master on the Atari ST(E), and it took me and a friend two years (yeah we were young and frightened...), a dozen starts with different parties to finally reach the dragon, slay it and defeat Lord Chaos...
I recently played it through in about a week...
Too bad this is going to be a console game... I'd buy a PC version anytime.
It must be real ..!!! I know many guys who can kill for a game like this ...!!!A game which introduce you in the world of Riddles and Real Adventuring with great treasures and rewards ...
wouldnt pay feck all for this, looks shit

Other than that, awesome idea, can't wait to see more : ).

looks very VERY amateurish made for a trailer.
if anything this trailer looks like it was made for the PS1 rather then Xbox360...

A classic on the Amiga - but this looks awful.. the Amiga version looks better.. guessing this is a hoax.

So what game company owns the rights to Dungeon Master now? I'd love to see a remake like this. I wonder if someone is fishing around the idea.

Eye of the Beholder would be a good candidate for a remake.

This is probably the closest thing to an Xbox 360 version of Knightmare, so I'll look it up probably.
