Sure, he's a little bit of a risk, but he's a SEVENTH ROUNDER! He was a compenstation pick the last round. Its one thing to take a flyer in the 1st round (Pacman Jones) the later you get, the less it matters.

YES, no doubt the character issues raise a flag. But I applaud the Bengals because, remember, Odell was a 2nd rounder and Chris Henry was a 3rd rounder. This draft, they got Scott in the 7th round, and they had 11 draft picks. The franchise doesn't NEED this guy, but they can use him. If his troubles catch back up to him, fine, Benson is still our guy. But, if Scott gets his act together, then we have a steal.

He's got speed thats a given...but 2/10 of a second doesn't make up for character issues. He doesn't tuck the ball away in any of the clips so unless that improves he's a fumble risk. And don't forget, while it looks like he's picking up 15 yards a clip he's doing it in a 1/2 speed 1/2 contact scrimmage. As far as the receiving goes... I'm pretty sure there are high school kids who could make the same catch with no coverage. I hope he proves us wrong but I'm not holding by breath. Who Dey

Its one thing to get hit by a D2 linebacker who's slow and about the same size as a D1 corner. Its a whole different story playing against guys like Ray Lewis... Like I said, hope for the best... prepare for the worst.
