How TO : patch a hole in your sub flooring

Is there a way to patch a hole in the floor inbetween the tub and toilet with out having to gut the whole bathroom? the hole goes under the tub! I NEED HELP!

couldent you just cut it a little biger (floor beam to floor beam ) and replace it that way
