  • For me the best fpv video. Great video quality and great idea flying two planes shooting each other. Congratulations. :D

  • Wow, great video. Very nicely done.

  • cool

  • Wonderful formation flying ;)

Can you tell me your Pan/Tilt - System - really seems to be smooth and strong.

    Thanks

  • @benkelm - Both of our Pan/Tilt systems are mostly custom, but the 360 pan camera uses a wench servo for sail boats, and the other is built from some parts from a ReadyMadeRC POD P/T system. Hope that helps! Thanks for watching. ;-)

  • This is a very sweet video! FAV LOL Nice

  • This seems like the best way to fly RC!

  • shall you tell me which model of cam did you use please? We are looking for the same video quality for helicopter filming.

    Thanks in advance! ;)

  • @6buro - Yes, we use the GoPro cameras.

  • surely the coolest video I've ever watched with Skywalkers.

    Cgts!

  • Great Video! Subbed =)

  • Awesome video!!!!!

  • Now all you guys need is an X8 and fly in triangle formation

  • Amazing videos, and flying guys:D

  • Brilliant.. simply awesome video (love the song with it too). Thanks for sharing it

  • Nice

  • Bonjour,

Pas de nouvelles vidéos ? :)

  • Merci bien :)

  • Oups dsl pour le son c'est dit à la fin. :(

  • @iPadTex ;-) Nick Gallant - "Alabama Bound" from his album "South Facing Slope". On iTunes.

    Thanks for watching!

  • Excellent sa donne envie de voler, merci.

C'est quoi cette bonne musique ?

  • amazing video! how do you view from the cockpit? I notice the gopro moves and tracks, do you remote view through the gopro, or use another camera? i want to learn to do the same, this year

  • @Beakerzor - We transmit the video signal from the GoPro output in real time to a "ground station" where we send the signal to goggles and essentially see out of the front of the plane (or wherever the camera is looking). We can control the camera either my the radios we use or by the goggles in some cases where the have tracking elements that match ones left/right/up/down movements. Fun stuff... but lots of homework to get in the air for most. And lots of custom building in many cases.

  • Nice flying man!

  • ok... I'm starting to feel obsessed... I've watched this about 10 times now.. either I'm bored at work... or I'm just plain FPV crazy!! well done guys.. what a great video!

  • @FPVnAround - Thanks! It's such a fun extension of the RC hobby and we hope to help with search and rescues in the future as well as have more fun.

  • Very nicely done!

  • Happy New Year 2012 :)) Grrreeeeaaaattttttt video my friend , I love it .

  • Freeking AWESOME!

  • Great flying and very a watchable video top job!

  • Superb! Loooks like you had a great time flying around. What did you use to stabilize the horizontal stabilizer in the back of the plane? It looks like carbon fibre rods? What thickness are they and how did you attach them on the plane? Just with glue?

    Thanks:)

    // Daniel, FPVStockholm

  • @FPVStockholm - Thanks for checking it out! We are using wooden dowels instead of carbon since they are holding out antenna. They serve both the function to hold the antenna in a sideways V pattern so when the plane banks there is always an antenna in the vertical polarization position maximizing signal (needed for control ;-), and also serves to hold the horizontal stabilizer a bit from twisting and jumping around.

  • They are 1/4" thick and attached simply using a notch in the frame and stabilizer with gorilla glue and hot glue to finish it up.

  • @calidave88 That's smart! Did you just glue the wooden dowels or did you attach them with something else? Do you use two cameras or just a servo stretcher? I've watched this video over and over again and I really like it!:)

  • @FPVStockholm Just glued. I'm sure one could be more hardcore, but they aren't under a ton of load... really it's probably the landings that jar them the most.

I use 1 camera and rsowder uses a flight cam and then records on the GoPro separately. Thanks for checking it out. Make sure to subscribe if you haven't already to catch the new videos as we hope to have a few fun ones in 2012.

  • wow dudes that was SOLID! +fav

  • brilliant - well done fella's!!

  • Really nice! I'm surprised the wings did not snap when the Skywalker went into rolling dive. Did you do any mods to the wings? :)

  • @icewolfy1 - Yes, both planes have carbon reinforced strips down the length of the wings in addition to the stock spars. When there's a chance to reinforce we do it since stock these planes can come apart if not put together well and flown easily.
