Thanks to the preconceived ideas on what is art and what is not art. Computer games, for instance, are believed to be merely a form of entertainment. And so are comics. And so was cinema in the moment of its conception. And so was sci-fi prior to Dick and Lem. Take an underrated field and try to make it into an art - and you'll earn fame and recognition - but not before you die.
