ya it is creepy imagry. another one that kind of erked me as a kid was the creepy lookin pastey faced people in the cheers intro. I love the music though. Thanks for the post i like this season 1 version the best

Truly one of the strangest themes in terms of visuals ever. I think they were going for "history of family" type of imagery to finish on the typical American one (the cast), but I used to watch it as kid like, "What the hell is this?"
