@clark144 - hey, not my conversation to butt in..... I always strip off the last 2 rod lengths of line before a new session if I hooked into fish the time prior - its just a thought, im not trying to do anything other than help clark cause I could literally feel your pain when you said "im just gutted" I have had that happen many a time as well!
think you need some new line on yours reals mate, your line snapped at todber too when ya stayed on to fish!!
