  • This is brilliant! :)

    BUCKS FIZZ FOREVER!

  • this should be higher in the 80s chart!!

  • Just think of Duran Duran and 'Wild Boys' ... PS. Love the Fizz.

  • Haven't heard that song in years. Love it!

  • ONE WORD SUPERB :)

  • Shelley Preston was HOT!!!!

  • Shelley Preston was HOT!!!!

  • They released so many great singles but have to say this is my favourite!!! 1986 was a great year for pop music!!

  • Ah, you have to admit, Buck's Fizz were great. Back in the days when music was..........well, MUSIC. They had a very successful run and deserved all of it. Great to watch this again after so long.

  • A+ love it!!!! such good comments before

  • love to see thise song over an Avatar video i think it suit it

  • this was the soundtrack to dancing vegetables from a kids clip show in the 80's u.k, i think it was called ttv and had a cat puppet and a parrot, scragcat i think the cat was called!

  • This would sound great in a mix with Wild Boys, Hazell Dean's They Say It's Gonna Rain, even Enya's Storms in Africa!

  • Shame it misses the very, er, beginning lol! There's some fantastic drumming on Fizz tracks.

  • Shelley Preston is HOT!!!

  • I'm still in love with you Shelley Preston!! xxxxxx lol

  • Top 80's Pop Trash! Fantastic!

  • Top 80's Pop Trash! More, More, More!

  • BLOODY FANTASTIC EH GANG

  • This video is very reminiscent of Duran Duran's "The Wild Boys" from 1984.

  • I agree with @joyceyman the video looks very similar to `The wild boys` vid, a totally new sound for BF...certainly grabs the attention !

  • I worked with Mike Nolan, Bobby Gee and Floella Benjamin in a pro-panto: Aladdin in the late 80's - they played a schizo Wishy-Washy; yes you guessed it one was Wishy and one was washy! Lovely guys; we had a great time; I played Princess Baldroubadour. Hello guys if you see this post

  • i love this song big fan of bucks fizz

  • still a top group

  • pretty good

  • A fantastic welcome back to the best 80s group in the world

  • Anyone got a copy of their top of the ops appearance singing this when it was at number 8?

  • I've just looked it up on wikki it was done by a group called FORCE 8.

Who were believe it or not The Doolys under an assumed name..

  • @kylienachani Sorry, this is another Wikipedia lie. Force 8 were a band from Liverpool, and the name came from the postcode, Liverpool 8, aka Toxteth. They had nothing to do with the Dooleys, who were from Manchester.

  • @SeventiesMania Funny you say that. I thought the original band came from Liverpool aswell.

But when i looked it up on WIKI I just asumed that the information was correct.

    Thanx for confirming my suspicion.

  • @kylienachani Not only that, but somewhere on the web there is a pic of the original Force 8 sleeve, with the band on the front, one of whom is black. I don't remember any black Dooleys! ;-)

  • This was a cover version of a song by a little known band released earlier that year.

Has anybody any idea who the other band was?

  • I love this song. I was a massive Bucks Fizz fan in my teens. I even have a copy of the 12 inch vinyl album of "New Beginning" signed by all 4 members of the band. I still shake my 40-something toosh when I hear their tracks. Love it.

  • I find this song is better than Making your mind up and its more catchier.

Who was your favourite Bucks Fizz member? thanks,

  • @MrMarco67 do you have the new ian levine remix..?

  • loved this song and video....they had some good hits too...love them!!

  • jay

  • Super Saline Rules, Mumbaa Sarah X

  • I thought Bucks Fizz did the wrong thing replacing Jay. They should have continued juts as a three-piece. Things are never quite the same when a long-standing original member is replaced and Preston looked so much younger than the other three.

  • who was it that got replaced one of the males of one of the fymales and who was it

  • Jay Aston left the band, she may even have been fired, what ever happened it was not an amicable split. She was replaced by Shelley Preston.

  • This is a wee shout for my wee pal Sarah, who is also known as Super Saline, Mumbaa Sarah, whoo hoo.

  • Massively under-achieving single - No 8 in June 86. Remember it well, getting the lyrics soooo wrong, mumbling my way through the verses+then belting out 'Mombaaa Sarah'! Anyway, a fine summer record - their best+final hit in the UK.

  • Oh yes, their belated comeback single. Hadn't Jay emmigrated at this point? Anyway, confession time. I thought Bobby's mullet was coolness itself at the time. (My mum has always said I was a problem child. This must be exhibit A).

  • best played up load in the car

  • Can't remember this at all, but love that they're all dressed for a part in dynasty!

  • #8 in 1986. #1 now maybe. Would make a fine change to the crap topping the uk charts now.

  • Number 8? Is that all???

  • Shockingly low. Then again, their best song is If You Can't Stand The Heat - pure funk!

  • Fantastic

  • fantastisch en een lekker rytme...

  • Love it!!! Release it again! Fabulous.

  • OK, a few things spring to mind:

    1. Bobby is a stunner! Humana humana!

    2. The drumming is heartrenching.

    3. I bet my sister likes the men in tights (pinkpaws1277).

    4. I bet the dancers' legs are killing them after that!

Check out Bobby and "Big Deal" - superb!

    Rock on!

  • this is one of the best records iv ever heard . if this was re released today it wud be a cert no 1 . the beat is amazin . i saw them live many years ago and iv seen hundreds of groups live . none came close to bucks fizz . videotheque u are a master !!!!!! keep postin and keep rockin my friend....

  • still got a soft spot for this song!

  • Ah, 1986, what a great year. Mullets all over the place. Good song too.

  • Should have been a Number One!! Like Culture Club's "Mistake #3" in that regard

  • Great song. And wow, wasn't Shelley Preston just gorgeous!

  • yeah stunning, like a young burt reynolds

  • Great pop song. Loved this and Heart of Stone by them.

  • thise is the 2nd time iv heard thise song [before my time] and i realy like it

  • Excellent song - I've actually downloaded it and "land of make believe" from HMV onto my mp3 player!!

  • nice vid but does it really end so abrupt?

1st time ive heard this song n its verry nice indeed.

  • Unfortunately, Bucks Fizz last single and in my opinion they best. True defining 1980's pop! A forgotten classic. Thanks for the upload :o)

  • i saw these live a couple of years bk well the new reformed bucks fizz. they r brill as fuk.

    x

  • Video looks like cut price duran duran wild boys video, and two years too late.. dodgy haircuts lads.. the best song they did with that dreary shelley preston.

  • DREARY??????? Are you having a laugh? She was and still is a total and utter babe! Get real!

  • This song is fantastic!! There are some great remix versions on Bucks Fizz albums. Should have been a Number 1 record for them (Originally recorded by The Dooleys, but never released!!)

  • There used to be a programme on Radio 1 on Friday evenings called Rosko's Round Table where guests reviewed that week's new releases. Occasionally (Emperor) Rosko would play one unannounced for the panel to guess who it was - and I remember this being played that way and no-one, and certainly not me, guessed that this was Bucks Fizz ! Should have been massive.

  • really like the video , im a transformed bucks fizzer

  • One of my favourite all time Fizz tracks - Love the video

  • What was that all about then?

poor old shelley, hope she made some money out of this

  • ooooooooooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

  • one word - wow!!

  • Fantastic Video & song!

  • Fantastic song!
