Helter skelter,,, fucking hell,,,,,,,,, that daft bitch looks like she just fell out of a tumble dryer ! she may be trying to sing on that stage but you should hear the language she uses on her poor toddler son, she needs putting in an asylym !!
That was just brilliant Andy. As a Beatles fan, the time just flew by. It must be a difficult editing job, or labour of love for you, but I'm sure you're happy to do this. There's a guy called Stevie Ricks who is a realy good impressionist on YT who seems to love the Beatles. His username is Caroline372You should check some of his stuff out too. Can't wait for the next and final installment. Well done to you.
I'm going to get skewered for this...I can see Gary's eye's rolling to the back of his head now before his head starts rotating...but I have never been a Beatles fan. I was a Stones fan from Day One myself ;~}
Doesn't mean I don't appreciate their contribution to rock music or the musicians in this video and certainly support the cause.

Andy, Didn't Russell do well on the day - quite a character!!! Love his George Formby & Ringo bits. Susie x

Did Russell ever leave the stage? He's probably still there now!!
I think the George Formby style set just proves the diversity of the acts on the day & the different interpretations of the music that there were.
And it sounds like it could be even more diverse next year! :)

A labour of love certainly. I had over 2 & a half hours of footage to edit down. It's not easy deciding who, or what to leave out.
I hope you enjoy part 3 as well :)

That's not a problem. I like both bands, but i do prefer The Beatles though.
Rock music would be a lesser place without either band.
And don't worry i'm holding Gary back, so you should be safe :)

Laugh yer ass off if you want dude - I was there on the day and she just ate that song up, made it her own and rocked the house.

I didn't mean it that way. Yeah she did a great job.

Note to self: Don't sing along with Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club band with 21 year old son in the room. Argh!
"*laughter* Having fun, Mom?"
Yes, yes, I am.

It's very hard to stop yourself singing isn't it? We all know the songs so well.
BTW They played the complete Sgt Pepper album on the night, from start to finish. Very impressive. Even The Beatles never did that :)

Just plain WOW!

another great compilation and a fun crowd of amateur muso's - it could have benefitted from a purple violin solo I think but otherwise no complaints!
randomwritings 3 years ago
Thanks. I knew there was something missing from the day, a purple violin. Maybe next year?
andymooseman 3 years ago
well I could just picture myself in a boat on a river with green tambourines and a purploid sky - that's all
randomwritings 3 years ago
And there was me thinking it was a marmalade sky. You live & learn i suppose :)
