I don't understand why it's so hard to wrap our minds around that fact. Again, I respect the time you put into this debate, and I hope that one day the world will be able to adapt. It hurts to be compared to? a pedophiliac or murderer, for I don't scar children, who bear no consent or understanding, and I would never kill another human for any reason in this world. No one is perfect, but if we really open our understanding and hearts, we may be able to live in peace one day. Thanks again.

Animals do not? have ethical dilemmas. In nature, they must fight for survival. Humans, fortunately, know that life is not worth killing others to survive, for we rely on our crops, fields, and seas for nourishment. I can ardently say I would have never chosen to be gay; I've tried relentlessly to "convert" myself, but my thoughts are increasingly hard to alter. It would be the equivalent of asking a heterosexual to attempt to convert to a homosexual.

I appreciate the time you put into this debate, but I have to refute the? AIDS argument. True, homosexuals are most prone to contracting this disease, but it's hasty generalization to assume all homosexuals are promiscuous. Allowing same-sex marriage will contribute to more monogamous relationships among gays, and removing DADT will lower suicide rates and burdens soldiers have to carry on their minds and hearts. I am by no means an animal; barbaric and aggressive. I will say more...
