  • whats wrong with the audio

  • @judyypop it's out of sync :S

  • Norton kinda started to sound like Saddam off of South Park there at the end

  • Well, good for you....Marty.

  • it's all out of sync.. sound is off

  • wow!!!

  • I LOVE THIS MOVIE

  • watched this last night this scene is so funny act like a man jesus i knew exactly what you wanted me to do its like we were dancin marty XD sheer utter genius

  • Even Gere is excellent in this - THAT'S how good this film is.

  • HIs first movie and the performance was amazin!! Ed Norton rocks!!

  • This is a great ending, though it still doesn't beat the famous "Bruce Willis is a ghost" one from "Sixth Sense!"

  • this is y ed norton is 1 of the best actors ever. his 1st major movie was prob his best acting job ever. yes even better than fight club in my opinion. prob 1 of the top 5 movie twists ever as well

  • Edward Norton is a master at playing the dual/split personality. Fight Club, the Score.

  • THE. MOST ADORABLE. MURDERER. EVER.

  • :@ out of sync ruins everything :/

  • brilliant, freaking brillinat. There never was an Aaron...

  • Amazing movie!

  • The sound is worse than an old Chinese movie. Anyway, I was so disappointed in the end cause I was thinking "awesome! Sweet little Aaron doesn't have to die" then I was raped by the ending.

  • Of course, this was a major plot error - since all he had to say way, "One of the guards said that Roy had tried to strangle the female lawyer" - so Aaron could have been merely expressing remorse over the actions of his alternate. NOT well thought out.

  • why is this filmed behind bars not cool

  • i was not suprise of the and i was suprise because this is edward norton first movie and he was amazing, this is his first movie and look the performance o O

fuck the academy edward norton is a real legend

  • AMAZING movie!

Aaron / Roy looks that innocent, but still is a murderer. And Mr. Norton, did a perfect act!

  • love u Ed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Fuck the Oscars. They obviously don't mean shit because this is one of the best performances in movie history.

  • audio is lagging!!!!!!!! ahhhhhh shit

  • Edward Norton deserved best supporting actor for this film

  • @3Axy10Est13 I KNOW!!! I disrespect to Cuba Gooding Jr. in Jerry Maguire (1996), but Norton was a Tour de Force in this film.

  • Not only would I like to suck Edward nortons dick,.. But I respect him as a talented actor-3

  • Law and Order SVU ripped this movie off.

  • Great legal thriller with a great twist at the end. Performances by Richard Gere and Edward Norton are amazing.

  • Best courtroom drama ever made.

  • Fantastic performance by Edward Norton. I like Richard Gere, but I am a bit bothered by his less than shocked expression when Aaron revealed the truth in the end.

  • Aarons so cute...Roy turns him ugly!!

  • you spelled spoiler wrong.

  • HOW did Cuba Gooding Jr in Jerry Maguire win the Academy Award over THIS???

Easily one of the best performances of the 90s!

  • @celeboria By the way; No disrespect to Cuba Gooding Jr intended´here! I did find his performance in Jerry Maguire hilariously entertaining.

  • @celeboria or ever!!!!!!! fucking hell watched this movie an hour ago for the first time and am still in shock!!!!!!!!

  • @celeboria could not agree with you more! I have been saying that Norton got ripped off for years!! This movie made me an fan and I have been following his movies ever since. Cuba has not done anything since boys in the hood and men of honor that has made me want to see any of his movies.

  • Love me some Eddy Norton!

  • best in the movie is the ending.Norton is gorgeus

  • Are 30 year old alter boys really that common?

  • Ha ! Arron or Roy Marty or Richard Gere ....

  • In the words of Andy Gray - Edward Norton take a bow son!

  • so it was all a big waste... The investigations, the conspiracies and so forth. Roy didn't even kill the arch bishop because of the sex stuff, he just wanted to kill him?

  • @incrediblehulkmovies

Nah, nah he totally killed rushman because of the sex stuff. "Aaron" had been pushed around by his dad so i can see why he had such a bad temper, and he adopted the innocent, meeky personality of Aaron to make himself seem innocent. He fooled everybody, audience included :)

  • the film was pretty shitty, gere was as awful as seagally possible, linney did the best with what she was given, which wasn't much, but norton ran with the fucking film, its the only reason people still talk about it film.

  • @kingcaesar5 Spot on analysis. This film was bad, but Norton was incredible. People don't talk about this film. They talk about what Norton did in it.

  • @Kruezoraxe I actually think the film was pretty entertaining. Obviously though, take out Norton's performance and the movie would just be dull and so-so.

  • This ending was soooooooooo good. I saw this movie for the first time recently and was floored by Mr. Norton's performance (as always). Hails.

  • @NottheFacePlease Are you being serious! You've got to be kidding! Well back at you asshole!!!

  • Edward Norton truly looked like a teenager in this movie, even though he was in his late 20s back then.

  • @thedrmat I know I thought he looked about 19 lol

  • OMG, I just saw this movie for the first time last night and the ending literally took my breath away. It's like the Shutter Island of the 90s.

  • @pinkpuma24

Pretty much; an ending NO ONE saw coming. And Edward Norton was DA SHIT in this movie!!

  • @thedrmat Oh, absolutely. I watched it with my best friend and her sister and we couldn't stop talking about how amazing his performance was.

  • @thedrmat

Yeh. I had already had the fact that edward nortons character was the killer blabbed to me but still the ending blew me away. I didnt know how it would play out that he was the killer or why. Unbelievable ending. And that mixed with Edward Nortons amazing acting made it incredible.

  • lol soocool and carpay didnt really get this movie im guessing?

  • Omg how do you not get it?

    It's not split personalities.

    It's one person, acting.

And he said it's roy, not aaron, because roy is the one who has the guts to kill. Who is mean and so on.

He invented the poor little Aaron just to look innocent and win the case.

  • The funny thing about this movie is it leave a lot of open questions. In particular, was the kid really crazy or did he really play the lawyer? Is it a possibility that Roy just finally won total control over his mind? Is it possible that Roy told Aaron he would find a way out of this or were they in it together? Or was the kid just really a psychopath who knew what he was doing?

    Genius!!!

  • @CarpayDM88 ...not really.....he invented both personalities and played everything from the beginning.......no real questions involved.....

  • @soocool78

and what is to say that the personality at the end you see isn't Roy? I'm not doubting the fact that he truly played him but you never know, it is not definite.

  • @CarpayDM88 idk, at least in my opinion, and my first impression...i though when gere said "so there was no roy"...and norton said...."oh come on, there was no andy"....i took that to mean they were both created by him....anyways that was just my impression, didn't mean to be so condescending on your thoughts

  • @soocool78

Oh no, you're cool. I just like playing devil's advocate with this ending. I too thought at first he played him, but then thinking deeper and thinking about the if's, thats what popped up.

  • every minute of the movie i love Aaron More... & more...

And in the end, He turns out to be onlyy Roy... I was like; OMG WHAT???

I didn't expect that. I love this movie. I Love EDward Norton!!!

  • Dude- take this off! It's not even worth watching.

  • @podiodi Kinda worth listening to, though. The lag sucks.

  • audio sucks

  • The best ending EVER! Edward Norton is incredible. He should have gotten the Oscar for this.

  • It's a shame the sound is completely out...

  • flawless victory

  • flawless victory

  • the ending is like OOH SNAP! :) nothing but the best.

  • Edward Norton should have won at least three oscars by now.

Primal Fear, 25th hour, American History X.

  • @SpawnRevenge92 fight club?

  • @bigggstarrr If you watched the film properly, the doctor assumed Norton got his stutter from the bad childhood and father he had.

  • Next too the movie "SE7EN" this is the best ending ever!...but Edward Norton never choose a bad script in his career.

  • great movie, richard gere is so gorgeous

  • @SUNMAYDEN518 er . . . nuhuh! edward norton is gorgeous!

  • The ending of this film always sends chills down my spine. Especially when Norton starts clapping.

  • Norton classes up anything he is in, thats why it is such a shame he will not be reprising his Bruce Banner role.

The avengers film will suffer the loss.

  • wow ok the whole movie i just thought that he was kind of crazy, i love edward norton.......roy really did trick him

  • Gere has no talent as an actor but all props to him because he brought his full personality to bear in this flick and did a great job. Even though I saw it coming (MPD is really disguised cluster C, most likely borderline or in this case, anti-social) the ending was still....POW!!!

  • both clips are so out of sync...how annoying

  • Hey Jessica, can you please re-do this with sync???

  • How did you manage to screw this up so badly? It's like a Kung Fu movie without the subtitles! :)

  • I never imagined this ending the first time I saw this movie.

  • I watched this film for the 1st time last night. There were several dead give-aways. "Split-personality" is misleading-I've NEVER heard of a multiple just having one other personality. There's always more. So when just Roy emerged that was a dead give away for me.

  • @gotch09 yer but how many other people actually know that? to me it was a huge twist

  • @acdcrules4eva I just thought it was odd than only one personality surfaced. No true multiple has only one other personality.

  • @gotch09 Well actually the Dissociative identity disorder is not fully understood. Some even argue that its not real as it appears almost exclusively on the North American continent (from wiki). On a different note a friend of our family has a mental disorder and appears to have two different personalities sometimes. They have got opinions from various experts and some of them outright conflict each other. Im not an expert but from what I have seen it appears she only has two different ones.

  • @gotch09 if he did have DID, whose to say that we just didn't see the other personalities? The movie only needed Roy, there would be no reason to introduce other personalities. I don't think that is necessarily a "dead give-away".

  • @kayceed My point is I knew where the movie was going in the 1st 30-45 minutes.

  • I LOVE THIS MOVIE!!!! OMG!!! IT'S SO....AMAZING!

  • You know that feeling when you get goosebumps and a cold sensation down your spine? You do if you have seen this ending, Edward Norton rocks

  • I love this movie

  • Man this ending blew me away! O.O

  • Marty Vail=P0WNED!

  • "It's like we were DANCIN' Marty!"

First time I saw this I was left with my chin down to the floor! Ed's a brilliant actor, even at that age!

  • What is it with Edward Norton and split personalities?

  • What do you mean?

havnt he only played this kind of Role in 2 movies?

  • @RazorRabidz

    yeah... that was a joke...

  • @RazorRabidz

3 if you count the Hulk

  • @wantsomecake328 He is simply just one of those very few actors who can play this kind of character with split personalities, and I love him for it.

  • @wantsomecake328 did he have another movie involving split personalities?

  • @DeltaMartialArt Yeah. But I won't tell you because its part of the twist ending to said movie.

  • @wantsomecake328 haha nice. Now ill have to go and watch all of his movies expecting a split personality twist at the end lol.

  • @DeltaMartialArt Fight Club

  • @M1kesSerenad3 Oh yea! ofcourse. How did i forget about that movie. Thanks for reminding me :)

  • @DeltaMartialArt no problem

  • @wantsomecake328 he is a super badass at playing it off thats why

  • @wantsomecake328 the same thing with Richard Gere and lawyers

  • @wantsomecake328 Haha, he's an actor. He has to play a different personality for every movie he's in. To play a split personality you just have to play a different person every once in a while.

  • @wantsomecake328 Well it's like DeCarpio's paranoid personalities, or Deeps bizarre ones, let's not forget Jack Nicholson's crazy characters. And so on...

  • @wantsomecake328 Its a great chance to show people how good of an actor you really are. After all whats more to acting other then convincing people you are not who you appear to be. He chooses 2 roles in a sense XD

  • @wantsomecake328 I know!!! I think he should have portrayed Norman Bates in the Psycho remake instead of Vince Vaughn.

  • @cinemapsycho91

i TOTALLY agree, i've thought that for years! damn it Vince Vaughn!

  • @jakemealue HE HE HA HA HO HO!!! Glad you agree.

  • @wantsomecake328 On his biography its lasted as his favorite kinds of parts, or his specialty or something

  • I just saw that ending here in Greece haha

  • Epic.....

  • Edward Norton was great in this film. His performance was stunning.

  • @topito2 +1 true.

  • still waiting for the better clips @JessicaGenocide...

  • the game is better

  • I would love to play maphia with edward...

  • @HyukjinChoi

    Liar.

  • Christ I can't believe how suckishly lagging my cut is! Ugh! I'll be getting better software and posting my clips up again guys, sorry about that. :(

  • @JessicaGenocide

Could you please do it soon?

  • @JessicaGenocide Could you please re-upload them, better synchro ?

  • @JessicaGenocide then do it

  • CrazyyMonkeyy12:

You are as stupid as your coment, I belive your favorite movie is ''Tinkerbell''

  • i love the twist

  • edward norton is the best, favorite movie ever

  • It was a really good movie and then this ending made it great!! Awesome film.

  • Edward norton...Best actor ever...

  • good film, edward norton is amazing however i don't understand why he gives it away, is it because of confidentiality or something?

  • He gives it away because the lawyer got him. Watch the scene again. ;)

  • no i meant why does he say about her neck he clearly gives it away on purpose

  • He just wanted to. He had already "won", so there was no harm in telling Marty since the trial was over. Plus like he said, he could tell Marty genuinely cared about Aaron, so he probably felt Marty needed to know the real truth for himself. He respected Marty enough to tell him the truth.....or he did it because he wanted Marty (who's supposed to be a big-shot lawyer) to know he screwed him over.

  • oh and also it's a defending attorney's job to defend their client, even if they know he's guilty. so marty can't go and be all oh, i was wrong. once an attorney loses a trial they don't get anymore jobs

  • Amazing movie, easily one of my favorites

  • This was a great ending
