Was a poor performance, Gervinho is worn out and so is Ramsey and you can tell he still ain't 100% fit, he can only have a quick burst of pace then he's out the game for 10mins. Benayoun is a quality player and doesn't deserve to be on the bench, think he could open up games more and I agree about Arshavin he needs to go, but I think give him a game against Wolves and Qpr, it might show us he has something left, but if it doesnt, we know to get rid of him.

i would say that arsenal are much more likely to sign podolski as he only has 18 months left on his contract and would only cost around 15-20m whereas hazard would cost close to double that podolski cannot truly expect to get 120k a week if he was to leave cologne and we would have to give RVP close to double his current 80k a week to keep him so i wouldnt think that giving podolski 120k a week would be a real problem

Unfortunately another poor performance from Theo and that makes me think that oxlade chamberlain should get a game as he's been terrific when he's played. A tight game but a win's a win and it moves us above liverpool and newcastle who dropped points. Hazard has been linked with clubs such as Inter, Real Madrid, Man City & A lot of other top teams. So I don't think he will sign for Arsenal. Players use should sign. Leighton Baines, Gary Cahill. Frimpong should have more of a chance in the first team as he has something your midfield is missing, Chamberlain should also have more first team games & try put pressure on Walcott.

Koscielny played really well today, he won a lot of the balls put by Aston Villa. Ramsey and Gervinho needs a rest, they have been playing a lot this season and looked very tired. Maybe replace Ramsey with Benayoun or Rosicky for a game or two.

I think that Benayoun should be more than just a sub. Whenever he has come on throughout the season, he has shown tremendous class and skill, and this is something I don't really see in players such as Walcott and Ramsey on a regular basis.
I really can't see Arsenal dishing-out 40 million to buy Hazard.
I just really hope that Wenger gives van Persie a big fat contract offer, and he stays on with us for the remainder of his career.

The Villa game was not the best, but we got the 3 points and that is fine. It is really inportant for a team like Arsenal to win matches where they don't play well. The last years we have had trouble getting points in matches where we not have played well.

About the defender situation, I have an interesting idea that will probably never work. But the Udinese left winger, Kwadwo Asamoah, would make an exceptional and Arsenalesque fullback. He plays a lot in defense for Udinese and is bright in attack. Good video today, the game was a bore other than my raised blood pressure but the kind we are going to have from time to time and need to win so it was good to get the result.

As for signings, Podolski, Hazard, Gotze are all dream signings but extremely unlikely. Having these 3 up front would make our attacking force strong!

@WhyReload Arshavin isn't a winger, he sits in the hole behind the striker, but Ramsey has that covered so he is forced out wide. @afcghk I think we need to change the formation, the 4-4-2 worked so well in the invincible season why change it? In my mind if we don't go for Gotze or another midfielder then we should have Song and Wilshere in the midfield, RM Walcott, OX, LM Gervinho, and possibly Hazard. 2 ST's RVP and someone like Podolski, Rues and the least likely Cavani.

I think that Benayoun should be more than just a sub. Whenever he has come on throughout the season, he has shown tremendous class and skill, and this is something I don't really see in players such as Walcott and Ramsey on a regular basis.
I really can't see Arsenal dishing-out 40 million to buy Hazard.
I just really hope that Wenger gives van Persie a big fat contract offer, and he stays on with us for the remainder of his career.

I don't really see Wayne Brigde in Arsenal and Baines is to expensive, but i really hope that Gary Cahill joins the team, because we really need a strong man in the heart of the defense.
The Villa game was not the best, but we got the 3 points and that is fine. It is really inportant for a team like Arsenal to win matches where they don't play well. The last years we have had trouble getting points in matches where we not have played well.

i think gervinho should start on bench and ramsey bring in benayoun and rosicky we need a back up for song tho because you can tell by when song aint playing we lose ball way to much i hope we buy baines because hes proven vs chelsea united we need someone who has been playing in premiership for ages i hope we sign a striker like reus because hes a top striker he may be young but has a good shot on him from long rage and would be alot cheaper then Podolski we do need gotze to to speed up game

About the defender situation, I have an interesting idea that will probably never work. But the Udinese left winger, Kwadwo Asamoah, would make an exceptional and Arsenalesque fullback. He plays a lot in defense for Udinese and is bright in attack. Good video today, the game was a bore other than my raised blood pressure but the kind we are going to have from time to time and need to win so it was good to get the result.

Great performance by arsenal good win villa is a hard place to go, I think wengar should give benayoun and rosicky more playing time and sell chamack and arshavin in January,also arteta playing outstanding for me considering he's stepping into fabregas boots. As for signings, Podolski, Hazard, Gotze are all dream signings but extremely unlikely. Podolski because of wages, Hazard is wanted by other clubs that can promise CL football, Dortmund don't wanna let Gotze go & its unlikely we'll give £30m for him. As for full backs, Taiwo has been mentioned a few times, Baines would be brilliant, Bridge really is scraping the bottom of the barrel, don't wanna see that.

I think we should push Gervinho back into midfield and try Arshavin on the right side, Walcott on the left side, and Van Persie up front. Arshavin has a good attitude when going into games and always puts his is best effort in. Where as many times in the Villa game, Gervinho had a clear chance to cross the ball in but yet decided to try and take on the opponent and lost the ball. Having these 3 up front would make our attacking force strong!

@WhyReload Arshavin isn't a winger, he sits in the hole behind the striker, but Ramsey has that covered so he is forced out wide. Gervinho brings something totally different to the team, he isn't afraid to take on players, and yeah he makes mistakes but this is only his first season and I gotta say, im very impressed with him.

I think Benayoun and Arshavin should start for Gervinho and Ramsey against Wolves! Benayoun has a great attitude, and he's scoring goals as well, something Ramsey is unable to do at the moment...
Arshavin hasn't started a PL-game in forever, and even though he's been poor I think he deserves a last chance before January. Remember he scored the match winner against Swansea!
Gervinho and Ramsey has been playing a lot lately, and were pretty poor today. I think they should get some rest.

Well done to Aston Villa, who made it very tough for us, to be honest we were lucky to get 3pts but its games like this what makes Man Utd champions.
We DEFO need to get rid of Arshavin, Chamakh, Diaby, Almunia, Rosicky, and perhaps buy strong, experienced and world class players. We do need to break the barrier a little if we want to compete. Even if its away from our transfer policy. we still need a GK, CB, CMF, SS

@afcghk any good CF, 2nd GK, a CB/SB, and a CMF such as Sniedjer or Kaka! We need to have world class players to look like we are a threat. Yes we have class and heart etc, but we put business before football. Wenger always says we have cash - why not use some of it! Players like Kaka/Sniedjer have not played in the EPL and their time is also up too.

@afcghk I think we need to change the formation, the 4-4-2 worked so well in the invincible season why change it? In my mind if we don't go for Gotze or another midfielder then we should have Song and Wilshere in the midfield, RM Walcott, OX, LM Gervinho, and possibly Hazard. 2 ST's RVP and someone like Podolski, Rues and the least likely Cavani.
So we need 1 more ST and 1 more LW / LM
ST: Cavani, Rues, Podolski
LW/ LM: Hazard, Rodallega
Any of those names and I'll be happy
