  • Good question. High modulus blanks are not as durable as a rod blanks that have glass in them. Some manufactures blend fiber glass with the graphite to help increase the durability of the rod. However, by adding glass, it will also add weight. The higher the modulus rod blank, the lighter and more sensitive it will be. High modulus blanks are not as durable as fiber glass rods, but the benefits of reduced weight and increased sensitivity are key for the Elite Tech River Runner rods. Good Luck

  • i got a question about graphite

  • I just bought the 6'2 super light. Can't wait to use it in the spring.

  • Purchased the 7'6" and it's one of my favorite rods of all time.

  • No, they are designed here in the US, but are manufactured overseas.

  • are these rods made in the usa

  • @smoovefishing

I don't think so. Fenwick used to be, but they are still owned by an American company. I think they actually make them in China.

  • I love an old HMX blank that I wrapped for myself to toss minijigs with, but I think i'll be purchasing one of these tomorrow!
