Good question. High modulus blanks are not as durable as a rod blanks that have glass in them. Some manufactures blend fiber glass with the graphite to help increase the durability of the rod. However, by adding glass, it will also add weight. The higher the modulus rod blank, the lighter and more sensitive it will be. I don't think so. Fenwick used to be, but they are still owned by an American company. I think they actually make them in China.
