The effects are of course, astounding, but I found I was left unimpressed with the piece as a whole. The "Doctor's" dialog was very stilted and it couldn't seem to decide if it wanted to follow the documentary formula, or get all design-y and artistic. It would have been stronger if it played the documentary aspect straight. The "doctor's" dialog was also way too stilted.

The explanation of the origins of the disease and the background were done well, IMO. But I noticed how they didn't mention how often the disease occurs, meaning they had no data. That was one flaw. "Metal tissue" was the other big thing that they did wrong.

If this disease did exist though, the body would most likely die due to sodium, iron and/or magnesium deficiency long before the growth went outside the body.
