I'm a big 6ft 4" guy with a beard, but I'm one of the biggest Harry Potter fans you'd come across, I've read the books at least 8 time each, and can quote entire pages sometimes. Harry Potter is the book that ruins every other book, no other book seems worth reading, after Harry Potter.

I don't think there is a typical Harry Potter fan, its fan base is just so huge, that you'll get a bit of everyone in there, I'm sure it's the biggest entertainment fan base ever.
