  • psychiatry is poison its evil ,i am still adicted on meds and have been in psychiatric hospitals and NO ONE can judge me or have an opinion on that.

    .

Its just a shame that scientology is right on this because they are a bunch of idiots who believe we came from mars in spaceships...

    .

its a fucking shame... now anyone who is a critic on psychiatry is concidered to be into scientology...

  • @xXxXTravisBickleXxXx

I can. Depending on the quality of care in your area, it may be a challenge to find a physician that understands medication is just another tool, not a cure. Eroding care because of poor mental health infrastructure makes it easy to understand your negative view. YMMV & IANAD.

Personally, I'd tone down the NWO side of things though; I distract myself w/ CoS on YT & user/khanacademy .

    All the best.

  • @recalibration I form my own opinions ,i am not a follower like you seem to suggest.

    .

I am against psychiatry but i am for psychology perhaps that clears things up a bit since i do look a bit angry with that post i made a year ago.

  • @HeliopauseBoundary

Apologies, I think you're misreading my comment. I understand the frustration you speak. I don't know where you're located, but {insert deity here} help you if you're USA sided. It seems (though I have no direct experience) "there's a pill for that" is considered standard treatment procedure.

    Cool new channel. Take care.

  • $old!

  • Martin Bashir - BBC Journo Legend.

  • thats directed at you hmoob7 you tosser

  • these people were emotionally vulnerable when they joined scientology.

  • Scientology systematically robs a person of his ability to question things. In Scientology, they tell you, "If it's true for you, then it's true," resulting in objective reality becoming sort of fuzzy as it is based on whatever you believe. Over time, your beliefs are systematically supplanted with the beliefs that they instill in you through training drills.

  • So does christianity

  • Comment removed

  • Wait, i'm confused.

How does Atheism rob you of your ability to question things? When does Atheism tell you "if it's true for you then it's true?"

There is no "church" which means there is nobody telling you how to think.

I'm wondering how you came to that conclusion.

  • @billsbus827 you are an idiot LOL.

    .

atheism is not a group thing and not a religion THATS THE WHOLE POINT!!.

    .

    read a book or something

  • Best analogy of what makes a them tick, that is the perception I get from people that I dealt with in the past like vaLLar that often posts on these type voids defending it and she will often use the "what's true for you" approach. But you nailed it it's the fact that they start to make reality a tad blurry for their followers.

  • It's creepy that people get so upset when moronic actors claim they know psychology better than psychologists, while having no problem when politicians claim they know all medical fields better than those in their respective medical fields.

Socialism is a political theology, and it is INFINITELY more damaging than the sum total of the worst that can be pinned on all others ccombined.

  • @TylerNull

... & yet, here is an example of you doing just that.

Living in a country founded on Socialist ideas, I take great offence to your comments. Fr here, the greatest threat I see is the US "culture" continuing to erode ours. Hell, Americans don't even play by their _own_ rules (see softwood lumber dispute). We're still owed 1B in illegally collected duties, as I read it.

It's ironic you use Christian iconography; what political ideal do you believe Jesus would prefer? John 6:5.

  • @recalibration

"... and example of you doing just that."

    Just what?

Given your wad of bizarre claims, "I take great ..." COMFORT in knowing that my observations offend your socialist ilk.

  • @TylerNull

You espouse of political viewpoints, but why should one read/listen? What credentials do you hold? Do speak from a position of authority, or alternately, can you pose your position logically & cite your sources? Are you just another insignificant voice, shouting into the white noise of all the others?

You don't even seem to understand Nationalised Socialism != Socialism, correlation != causality nor KGB != Socialism.

I notice you've ignored my points about iconography. Interst'n.

  • I have no sympathy for those stupid enough to join a religion and then face the consequences of their stupidity. While I despise Scientology it's refreshing to see the religious actually held accountable to their claimed beliefs like adults should be.

  • Look, they are all bullshlt... Although you can get away with calling everything else a "church" or "religion" because they've been around for hundreds or thousands of years.

Scientology's only positive trait is to make people in the 21st century hopefully question not just it, but all religion in general.

  • at the price of giving bad medical advice, brainwashing and splitting up families

  • The issue is the bait and switch and the destructive official policies the Church of Scientology holds. If you go to any other religion and ask what theyre all about theyll tell you. Free of charge. However, in Scientology you dont really learn what the religion is about until youve already invested some 300,000 US dollars into it. In order for consumers to make a reasoned choice they must have the facts on what they are buying.

  • I agree.

There are some differences between between religion and cults.

Scientology is both, but I would say it's a cult for the most part.

  • The definition of cult that critics used is the one defined by FACTnet. Here's a quick rundown (no personal choice allowed):

    1) subjugation under stress and fatigue

    2) Social disruption, isolation and pressure

    3) Self criticism and humiliation

    4) Fear, anxiety and paranoia

    5) Control of information

    6) Escalating commitment

    7) Use of auto-hypnosis to induce 'peak' experiences

    8) Pay to play path to enlightenment

  • Just tell us your crimes, or STFU please.

  • Scientology has given you phrases like that to keep you from thinking critically.

You could have tried to point out the flaws in your opponent's argument, but instead you just pulled out a lame prepackaged catch phrase.

    You aren't thinking for yourself.

  • you havent got the bollocks to say that to peoples faces you little mug you would get squashed like the little worm that you are!!!

  • @hmoob7

I'll tell you $cientology's 'crime' in France:

    ORGANIZED FRAUD!!!

$cientology is fraudulently criminal, hmoob7. It's a crime syndicate run by a sociopath who beats his staff; witness the SP TIMES article.

    TAMPABAY. COM

  • Yep, that hits the nail right on the head.

Those 8 things together could be described with one word: "Scientology"

  • @plimbuff

    It's full cult.

"Scientology has opened the gates to a better World. It is not a psycho-therapy nor a religion. It is a body of knowledge which, when properly used, gives freedom and truth to the individual." -- The Creation of Human Ability, A Handbook for Scientologists, L. Ron Hubbard, 1954.

Download & see for yourself: mediafire(dot)com/?g3ijjatojum

    page 111.

  • $cientology is a creepy cult.

  • all fags

  • Well, COS it sure ain't helping KA not be a fucking blimp.

  • Homer Simpson was Scientologist but Marge refused to join

  • lol

speaking of the "Movementarians" episode, it was actually inspired in part by Scientology. suuh a shame that Nancy Cartwright is a Scientologist who donated 10 million dollars to Scientology in 2008. She doesn't realize that, by doing so, she is helping this organization scam more members out of their money and harass its critics, as it buys empty buildings around the world so members can't easily request a refund.

  • why do the leaders SALUTE each other? that is more of a military thing. hmm...

  • l ron hubbard was in the military. google the sea org, you'll understand more

  • yes and as i recall lafayette was a complete imbicle in the navy.Hubbard's claim of combat, or war wounds, is definitively ruled out by Navy records, according to published reports in Time and Forbes magazines, the Los Angeles Times, the St. Petersburg (Fla.) Times, and books by critics and defectors Jon Atack, Russell Miller and Bent Corydon.

  • Hubbard was relieved of his command of the YP-422 soon after it set out from the Neponset River on a 27-hour shakedown voyage in September 1942, the reports say.

"Lt. L.R. Hubbard . . . is not temperamentally fitted for independent command. It is therefore urgently requested that he be detached," the commandant of the Boston Navy Yard

  • wrote in October 1942 to the vice chief of naval operations, the reports said.

According to a court affidavit written by his son, L. Ron Hubbard Jr., the elder Hubbard was "relieved of (military) duty on several occasions," including once in the Pacific in 1944 when he "apparently concealed a gasoline bomb on board the USS Algol in order to avoid combat."
