This song has a very powerfull emotional "charge" on me. Vienna is the first electronic music that had such effect that I can recall from my childhood.

I'm realy suprised it sounds so good performed live, the vocals are great.

Also the acoustics are interesting, especially the synthisizers have an extra echo that make them sound even more

Exactly... Thank god there's someone else out there who knows that the majority of todays music is NOT about love... it is just physical attraction. This music, however, was about love. Music from 70s - 80s was better than late 90's - 2000's by far. And I'm 18, I severely dislike modern music.

You're absolutely right. Modern pop music, to me, is absolutely hollow. The so called "artists" are insincere, untalented, shallow and superficial and it doesn't require any skills as a musician or vocalist. Now, everyone uses autotune for their voice and pro-tools for the background noise. Unfortunately, talent is a thing of the past. Midge Ure comes from a high class level of vocalists that unfortunately doesn't exist anymore.
