  • I got to see Tara at the top of Snow Summit's DH course some years ago when we were waiting to do our practice runs; she was a few riders ahead of me. I recall how her beautiful eyes really stood out, and how incredibly fast, fluid, smooth, and graceful she carried her incredible speed down the mtn. I hope to god that she can return to racing; if not, she is already making a difference in others' lives. My best wishes to Tara and her family. She's a true fighter and champ through and through.

  • Her story is one of the reasons we should support stem cell research.

  • Tara your my hero and I looked up to ever since I unlock you on downhill domination and I just found out last week that you broke your back

  • SHES SO BEAUTIFUL....

  • @CaseyAnthonysArmy I hope you know how stupid you sound. Nice original name.

  • I used to ride and even race MTBs and I stopped 10 years ago. I got married, got fat, out of shape... Haven't really been riding since. I feel ashamed of myself for neglecting the use of my legs. I'm going to tune up my old bike and go for a ride in the honor of Tara.

  • she would have been better off without the helmet

  • Grande Tara

  • Salute.....I wish she could ride again

  • She definitely seems like she appreciates what she has. It could've been worse. I really enjoyed this video. Her positive attitude really warmed my heart.

  • Heart wrenching. Get better Tara. You're not done yet.

  • I saw her here in Brasil riding so much! Very good mountain bike racer! We expect that she became a MTB rider again!!! We love you!!!!

  • hey why don't you just shut the fuck up! tara's a friend of mine. this is what you say to ppl who are paralyzed? you are the ultimate pussy... go fuck yourself

  • Tara, sweety, know that we love you and hope to see you doing what you love best, real soon. Our sport is not the same without you.

  • we want to see you flying hi again here in Brazil!!!

  • Tara!i know u can do it!i had jst watch ur vid on bike skills teaching roots rock and water crossing!i hope and pray that ull recover soon!JAH BLESS U TARA!

  • The reporter seems a little fake and the piano music is lame- but Tara is super-hot... even in a wheelchair. If she beats the odds though she seriously needs to stop competing and risk taking. She has had so many injuries! I really want to see her walk again though.

  • Tara, the whole mountain biking community stands behind you.

  • You people who say that you are "sure you will make a full recovery" are way out of line. A severed spinal cord does not reattach. Most paraplegics do not walk again. Sorry, but we all have to face reality. I hope she proves otherwise, but don't bet on it. GO TARA!

  • With her heart and dedication really anything is possible. I just hope for the best, she is one tuff women.

  • You can do it Tara we are behind you the 43bikes of U.P. We love you & God bless

    Andy C.

  • its so sad to see such talent lost to a crash. She is such a great racer and a nice person and hot. Get well Tara!

  • Tara, you are a true champion! On behalf of all bikers from the Papatrilhas Bikers group in São Paulo, Brazil, I would like to wish all the best in your recovery. I am going to post this video in our blog so people in Brazil can learn about you and donate. Cheers!
