Tarot was founded by Marco and his brother Zachary. The bands first album “Spell of Iron” was released in 1986. Tarot has released nine studio albums to date.

Marco later joined Nightwish as a permanent member in 2002.

Why do people always want to fight pop music? Kids, listen: Everytime you klick on a music video, the artist gets a share of the money YouTube makes from the advertisements. So by visiting pop music vids to promote metal, you do the exact opposite. And what are these logical arguments supposed to be? Taste is relative and arguing that metal is in some way better or more technical or whatever is no valid argument. Just enjoy your music, and let others enjoy theirs. Don't waste precious lifetime.

1. Don't bash other metal artists, we need to unite. We cant fight against pop music if we arent even together

2. Watch more and other metal videos to get it to the top of the youtube vid list

3. Instead of bashing pop, promote metal with logical reasons, not just "METAL RULES"

Marco is (according to me) one of the worlds best musicians, his voice, his atitude, and I absolutly love him in nightwish, when he and tarja (and anna) sing together it's amazing, it really crawls under the skin

@7sleper In my opinion Marco sings better alone. This thing of putting girls to sing in every ''gothic'' band annoys me. Nightwish sounds like other thousands of bands, and other thousands of bands sound as Nightwish. But I have never seen a band which sound is similar to Tarot. Just my opinion :)

@gabrielstatus not to be annoying but nighwish have a really originall sound, and they are one of the earliest bands in theire speciall (and similar styles) music style to hava a female front singer, and theire music style isnät gothic but symphonic power-metal and they were the ones to create it (I'm sorry if I've got my facts wrong, but this is what I've learnt about tha band)

@7sleper Well, they weren't that early if you want girls on the vocals. Warlock came first in the Metal... But what I meant with Nightwish is that all gothic bands sound the same. And I hate that thousands of names they give to metal... It is gothic metal in it's basics, and no, they didn't create that. Also I lose my patience with that style of singing, as it is already too common. Sorry if I offended you, but I think Marco should have stuck just to Tarot :)
