Fake. This was made for America's funnies videos. WHY the explosions so far from where the rocket went, AFTER the parachute ejection charge??? HAHAHA Nice try

Wrong. This is not fake, and the video was shot years before all the "staged" videos began showing up on AFV. The rocket was laden with pyrotechnics which made the rocket too heavy for the long ejection delay. The nose cone was on too tight so it didn't come off. It was the rocket hitting the car that broke the rocket up. At that time the ejection charge had already fired, and lit the fuses on the pyrotechnics. When the rocket broke up, the pyrotechnics fell out on the road, and blew up.

For me, it was the 4th of July. We bought a rocket that was supposed to explode into fireworks when it was in the air, but when I launched it, it rocketed into a palmtree and then exploded. A small fire started but then it went out...PHEW

Estes engines are very combustible. If you wana make a rocket that explodes, buy a few B engines crush them up and pack them tight in the rocket body. The rocket explodes when the rocket goes into it's Charge mode. it's cool and it works

When the parachute doesn't deploy and the nose cone doesn't come off the body tube it's called a long dart. Because it darts into the ground nose first.
