  • wow great dreads :)

  • nice locks!

  • Everyone needs to know that dreadlocks vary by your hair type and texture. So, please, do not get discouraged if your hair doesn't look like hers. All dreadlocks are beautiful, both wild and frizzy to neat and tamed. It doesn't matter how they look, they represent a personality of your age throughout the years from the roots to the tips. Your dreads tell a story and how they look, will tell more about yourself.

  • Wow she is gorgeous!!

  • do u always do her hair to make it look perfect

  • Sexy man.

  • i have 110 dreads, i have had dreads for 7 months now, and i started them when my hair was 3 inches. now they are almost reaching my shoulders xD

i dont know , i just felt like sharing this with you people lol.

this dreadlocks are beautiful and i wish there was a person that knew how to take care of dreads like you here in my town.

hope in 5 years i can share a video showing how my dreads are

    cheers!

  • they are beautiful, that is undeniable. But i 'don't like them. I prefer the more haggard looking dreads. (I'm not insulting, just simply starting my opinion.)

  • hope thats how mine look in 5 years.

  • How long was her hair before she started her locks?

  • 5 years of growth before she had her hair loced. 5 years of growing and maintaing the dread, so 10 years of growth. Many people think they are extensions, but her hair has grown very fast being in dread loc form. It was just past shoulders when she first got dreads then they grew down to her hips in 5 years.

  • @skillteacher that's crazy, my hair grows for 12 years now, had dreadlocks in there since 10 years ago (for 2 years, I then took them out to get them back in after a couple of weeks). but I think her hair is longer^^

  • Simply Beautiful!!

  • i always wondered if i didnt have that much dreads. i only have 57.

i cant mine are about shoulder length. check vids if you wanna see them =]

  • well compared to people with thicker hair mainly afro-americas, like my self tend to have a fuck tone of dreads that are equal size to people who have fewer, like i have 213 dreadlocks right now and they are a good thickness like a lil thicker than a pencil

  • @petersonp715 yea i wish mine were like that! im mixed with puerto rican =\

  • 5 STARS********

  • Those are some beautiful locs!

  • OHHH very nice!!!!

  • she beautiful,,,and she looks amazing with her hair dreaded..so natural and her shirts awsome too=D!!

  • BEAUTIFUL PROOF THAT OTHER RACES OTHER THAN THE BLACK/AFRICAN AMERICAN CULTURE CAN LOC THEIR HAIR! AS I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO SAY! does she have a youtube channel?

  • Dread locs are such a beautiful art form to so many people. When we open our arms and embrace other cultures it offers to them the experiences of our ancestors. These experiences travel with them and are reflected in their words and actions.

I believe that the insights of particular cultures helps to ease and establish the interconnections between different races, creating peace and harmony amongst open minded people. Peace and blessings be with you

and she has yet to create a youtube accout.

  • @skillteacher how much dreadlocks does she have

  • @supan00b1 she says it in the beginning of the video.....68 locs :D

  • @dadamdada23 even animals hair will form dreadlocks .... IMO it was the mountain goat race that started dreadlocks =P

Dreadlocks happen with hair it's not a race thing

  • Wow! Her locks are AMAZING!!! I cant wait for mine to really lock up like that. I'm going to have to invest some time learning the needle style.

  • i'm feelin her locs. especially the fact that she doesnt use any crap on her hair. nice vid along with the others ive seen

  • wow love her hair

  • I think theyre perfect, each persons dreads are a unique and personal journey.

  • Um.. that's the same way how black people's are when they are retwisted/tightened....

  • um excuse me!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What does that mean black ppl's! Where did that come from? I thought the conversation was about LOCKS!!

  • Re-read the conversation.

So old buddy said that the locks were really tight on her scalp. Well, generally, the people who I have see (who aren't black) that have looser locks on the scalp and don't retwist them as tightly as I have seen on most blacks.

  • See the thing about that is, most (not all) black people like a really manicured look on their scalp. Dreadlocks aren't really all that accepted anywhere, and people always have something to say about people's hair. So they tighten them frequently to make sure it's acceptable.

I'm not a big fan of the scalpy look myself though. It weakens and thins your locks if you over-twist, tightened to frequently.

  • But the gist of the comment was that: "oh have you not see tight locks before? A lot of black people have their locks that way."

Long comment, but I dont want any misunderstanding.

  • U no alot about black ppl huh chicasonidera?

  • Black. Have locks. Know people who are as I described. Not all. Some. \What's the problem and why are you dragging it out, cuz I'm over it.

  • U need to read the culture behind locks. Try cultivating urself b4 u speak abt dreads Better known as locks, there is nothing dreadful abt my hair. And its not a fashion statement. 4 me. Jah Rastafari. Blessed

  • Whoa you need to chill out because I didn't say anything about a fashion statement. I said something about my experience with ppl who have locks. And they aren't a fashion statement for me either. I already know the history and culture. And I have had cultivated locks before. I used to latch my locks. Now I latch them every 3-4 months instead of once a month because I don't mind the fuzzy look. Different strokes for different folks.

  • What is wrong wit u? U said black ppl retwist their hair because they like a manicured look.. That is done for fashion. Ppl who are Rastas dont do that, they dont retwist. (Its a way of life). Ur arguing and gettin defensive for no reasons. We all no alot of ppl, whether frizzy or twisted they are still locks. Learn to open ur mind and close ur mouth. U need understanding ask Jah Jah to help u. Im done wit this conv 2 much negative energy from u. B well =[

  • OK......I did re-read the conversation. Please understand that ppl who wear their locks for fashion(and re-twist) have nothing to do with a RASTA!!!!!!!!! Either way fashion or religion is COLORLESS=]. I dont understand y u say, "BLACK PPL". Try to be mindful of ur wording. Im not trying to be offensive nor do I want to be offended.

  • "U said black ppl retwist their hair because they like a manicured look.. That is done for fashion. Ppl who are Rastas dont do that, they dont retwist."

No, I said "Know people who are as I described." I'm talking about people I KNOW, NOT ALL blacks, I have mentioned that several times already, & certainly not Rastas.

This is just a cultural confusion as well. Rastafarism is a Jamaican religion, and the people I have described live in the USA, are not Rastafarian, and DO twist their locks.

  • And what do I need to open my mind for? I am very open-minded, more than you will ever know. I speak 4 languages fluently. I travel the world and volunteer internationally. LOCKS are LOCKS. Who said I hated cultivated locks? I said I PERSONALLY want my locks to look fuzzy. Cultivated are beautiful as well. You're the defensive one. Don't insult me. No one needs to help me.

  • Really? Rastararism is a Jamaican Religion?

My grandparents and father are from Jamaica, and I dont know one Rastafarian.

All Jamaicans I know are Christian.

  • Rastafarianism is a branch of Christianity. Beliefs vary between the two from small to rather large. Small, being that they believe in God and Jesus as the savior. Big, being that they may or may not believe in God, and accepts Haile Selassie I, the former, and final, Emperor of Ethiopia, as the incarnation of God. He is also seen as part of the Holy Trinity and as the returned messiah promised in the Bible. Rastafarian movement is rather new...

  • It came about around the1930s I believe. The emperor of Egypt said that he was not holy or the reincarnation of God, nor any messiah. But the people worshipped him anyway and said that he was. So technically you can say that it's kinda a fake religion... But oh well. People will worship who they want to worship. lol. Also when you die, you dont go to heaven, you go to the holy land of Egypt.

  • So, if that's not what your family believes in Lazybabyz, then they are probably regular christians and not Rastas.

  • yea her hair is really pretty.
