  • I am a small farmer and thank you for giving this information to others! Also, my family has been completely refined sugar free for 4 years now (we use fresh honey and maple syrup from our area) and feel amazing.

  • The introduction of Monsanto GMO Roundup Ready alfalfa has been a disaster for the US seed industry as it has lost overseas markets that shun GMO seeds. The only winners in this farming catastrophe are Forage Genetics and Monsanto, who own the patent on the gene that is now contaminating non-GMO alfalfa.

  • The record suicide rate among farmers in India continues to rise, with one farmer now committing suicide every 30 minutes. Many media reports blame Monsanto's failed GM Bt cotton crops for the crisis. More than a quarter of a million farmers have killed themselves in the last 16 years in what is the largest recorded wave of suicides in history.

  • Monsanto has a place in hell waiting for it and all its seeds! Burn forever Monsanto!

  • I remember walking through the rows of my grandpa's corn with a 'corn knife' - a type of machete that we used to chop down weeds that were getting near to setting seed. He also kept his ditches mowed to minimize weeds, and everything looked great - he didn't believe in chemical fertilizers or herbicides. My uncle however decided to try the new technology.... worked for him, but then he developed Parkinson's Disease, too.... go figure.

  • @hunt1803 - Why aren't you farming your grandpa's farm?

    Les

  • @CouldNotCareLes My cousin is farming it... he inherited. I have my own farm to manage...!

  • I love the beauty & Brains 'double threat ' girls like Shelly. She is cute ,,,, Hey Shelly...want to meet for a coffee and a spanking later.?That would inspire me to go after these poisonous serpents Zyklon B Nazi GermanAgentOrange,Vietnam Round Up Ultrawith Dyncorp Panama. Round up terminator seed plan responsible for the 125,000 suicide deaths by starving farmers in India. They would go into the fields and drink round up weed killer. Now it came out that 500.000 Iraqi children died sanctions

  • Monsanto currently controls the worlds food supply. This is not just an American problem. Please help all your friends understand this.

  • Great job Shelly! I'll spread the word!

  • shit this chick had it easy when i was a kid i had a weed hook to cut down ragweed and milkweed in our soybean fields, i did that from spring til the end of summer, i can tell you this I will never plant conventional beans ever again, its stupid not to if you have the technology.

  • @MrMothertrucker91 - and she fails to mention (she probably is unaware) that her dad incorporated Treflan into the soil prior to planting, sprayed the entire field with Poast and then twice with Basagran before they rode out there with the Roundup.

Now we can skip all the other stuff and just spray the Roundup!

    Les

  • help stop Monsanto evil. The state department is pushing gmo eggplants and they are using our tax dollars to do it. Monsanto wants the world to be in there image no matter how many people they kill.

  • I wish Eart will forgive us...;(((

  • A beautiful woman, with a beautiful message. Awesome

  • Watch the full length version of "The World According to Monsanto" and decide for yourself. You can see it on Youtube.

    -----

Repeated polls show that over 85% of Americans want mandatory labeling for foods that contain genetically engineered ingredients. Who does NOT want that? Monsanto.

  • @33tracker - Monsanto does not sell food. Their genetically engineered products are clearly labeled as such.

Who does NOT want mandatory labeling? KRAFT, Coke, General Mills, Publix, Whole Foods, Nestle, Heintz, etc. etc. etc.

    Les

  • @CouldNotCareLes Then why did Monsanto formally ask the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and Federal Trade Commission (FTC) to punish dairies that label their milk "rBGH-free"? Monsanto's own website states "Requiring labeling for ingredients that don’t pose a health issue would undermine both our labeling laws and consumer confidence.""once you consider the facts, it becomes clear there is no sense in mandatory GMO labeling." Who does not want GE products labeled? Monsanto!

  • @myndy86 - If someone was labeling milk as myndy86-free, would you be interested?

Monsanto sold the Poslilac business shortly thereafter. I guess they could see that folks didn't appreciate it (neither the consumer nor the producer for the most part.)

Why on earth wouldn't KRAFT or Coke put a simple little 'GMO-free' label on their products?

    Everyone wants it.

((( answer - they make a LOT of money selling GMO products. )))

    Les

  • @CouldNotCareLes Why would Kraft, etc. put a GMO anything label on their products if they weren't forced to? There are plenty of products that have "The state of California has deemed this product" labels on them. Companies usually wont put anything like that on their products if they aren't forced to or they would just have a general notice and not a notice forced on them by the state of California. If people didn't want to eat human containing food(myndy86) I would perfectly understand why!

  • @myndy86 Exactly! Why isn't there a video somewhere calling for the labeling then?

Folks everywhere feed their kids Mac-n-cheese ... do you suppose they are aware that this staple food is made from GMO ingredients?

Are you aware that companies like KRAFT demanded this cheap/reliable input (GMO corn?)

  • @CouldNotCareLes My argument was not that Kraft does want GMO labels(I honestly don't know if they do or not), my argument is that Monsanto doesn't want GE products labeled. I am replying to your statement implying that Monsanto is a seed company and GE labels don't affect them. If GMO labels were to cause average consumer to avoid those GE foods this would cause average farmer to avoid using GE seeds which affects Monsanto. However, the customer would benefit from reduced food costs.

  • @myndy86 - that is bologna.

Monsanto's GE products are clearly labeled ... that is their selling point.

    Farmers look for new technology.

The farmer doesn't care what the consumer buys, he cares what the mills buy.

If KRAFT and the like wanted GMO-free grain, farmers would grow it.

    Les

  • @CouldNotCareLes As I already stated Monsanto is openly against GMO labels and appears to be the largest financial contributor to most campaigns against GMO labels. You should be thinking long term. If GMO labels become mandatory and the average customer rejects GE products, the mills wont be buying your product, and they may even reject your farms products for several years even if you switch to Non-GE, because of contamination issues.

  • @myndy86 - Monsanto does not wish to encumber the grocery industry.

As I already stated, Monsanto voluntarily labels it's GMO products.

I have farmed without GMOs, I could again if need be.

Take away this technology and you will pay double for ALL of the food you purchase.

No one is going to make a GMO-free twinkie or a GMO-free happy meal anymore, I feel pretty comfortable with my grain enterprises as they are thank you.

    Les

  • @myndy86 - really? You honestly don't know if KRAFT wants GMO labels?

Follow the money please. KRAFT is making billions of dollars every year selling GMO products.

I wonder if they have a single product that doesn't contain ingredients made from GMO grain.

What if the consumer was aware that the KRAFT brand relies on GMO grain to create all these nice products for your family.

    Les

  • @CouldNotCareLes After some research I found that Kraft helped fund a campaign against GMO labeling in 2002 in Oregon. Also on the list of financial contributers was General Mills and Heinz. So, it appears you are correct about those companies, but I could not find evidence that Coke, Publix, Whole Foods and Nestle, have openly stated or funded opposition to GMO labels, can you? However, the largest financial contributor to the campaign against Oregon(and other states)GMO labels was Monsanto!

  • @CouldNotCareLes I'm not sure if there are videos demanding companies like Kraft, etc. label GE products, but there are plenty of websites, etc. that have letters you can copy and send to most major companies known to use GMOs in their products, demanding they label those GE products. It is not as if only Monsanto is the only company being targeted for their position on GMO labels, however Monsanto is a company that is openly against GMO labels, so they may get targeted more often.

  • From my readings, real maple syrup is the healthiest source of sugar, besides sugars we get from vegetables, fruit, flour, ..., which we don't use as a direct source of sugar. And I won't disagree with this, probably due to loving real maple syrup. But, then there's pure and organic cane sugar, though I usually get organic sucanat, besides maple syrup. These last me months, due to consuming little, but they're at the top of my list.

  • hot

  • I will definitely be spreading this! Monsanto is the EPITOME of evil! Thank you for sharing this, Your awesome!

  • Good information, thank you.

    Death to Monsanto.

  • Thx for tips

  • I used to have a small hobby farm and NEVER used round up or any chemicals for that matter...Organic!

  • @Kristeenanubis2468 - Used to? Why do you not farm now?

  • good video -RoundUp used Hugely in-"Clean Green NewZealand" (hA!). Bad stuff. You'll wake up crooked if its on-or-close 2 your property. How 2 stop its use?! People r asleep & ignore! Councils conned in2 purchase, DOW got 2 NZ makes poisons 1080 -2,4,5-T & 2,4-D & MONSANO with RounUp SO many chemicals you wouldn't believe! 2,4-D in Triisopropanolamine in 'Versatill' NZ spray shoolgrnds parks. RUp has cell breaking adjuvants- make glyphosates 100 x mor toxic.book"The Poisoning of NZ" MerielWatts

  • According to the Monsanto way of thinking- health and well-being ain't important...tomorrow you'll be dead and gone, so who really cares about the natural world. Sex and money are the only things that matter in life. Yeah, getting old is horrible, as your body and mind deteriorate and big business pollute the environment and contaminate the world's natural resources...agenda that's profitable for the rich and soulless.

  • After learning about Monsanto corporation, I've found that there are a lot of similarities with the porn industry...in terms of business approach and profit mentality. I'm starting to believe that Monsanto was spawned by the porn industry b/c when I draw the following analogy: breast implants and natural titties= same thing, dildo and penis=same thing, sex is sex- do it often, obsessively...it's all ok as long as we're making money! So yeah keep eating GMO foods coz it's cheap, ain't real food.

  • @DrROXXX24 hi retard

  • It's not about a corporation. A corporation reflects governmental policy directives, and the demand of the people. A corporation can't be annihilated and then voila change! There is a total overhaul needed in the cultural system to produce effective changes. Go to thevenusproject . com and the zeitgeist movement for information and how to begin changes for yourself which will extend to others.

  • I pray for the demise of Monsanto. I want this corporation annihilated!!!

  • @Ken2468WILD1 - ... and I suppose the hundreds of thousands of American Family Farmers who are loyal to Monsanto's brands should be annihilated as well ... eh?

Is it just Monsanto, or are you opposed to all companies who genetically modify commercial crop seed?

I'd guess you are praying for the demise of most of the farmers in North America.

    Les

  • @CouldNotCareLes Your comments prove that Monsanto is beyond fuckin' greedy and soulless, and also indicates that this abhorrently corrupt corporation seeks to monopolize the entire agricultural industry. All farmers who value the environment and health should certainly rebel against Monsanto. Fuckin' Take 'em Out!! Yeah, Annihilate 'em!!

  • @Ken2468WILD1 - How about DuPont, Syngenta, Bayer, etc. etc. etc. who do the exact same thing?

    Les

  • @CouldNotCareLes That's the profit-driven, corrupt society we live in...health-care is really disease-care and the abysmally ignorant people who don't value their health and eat processed, conventional food need medication because their immune system is weak and their health is deteriorating as they age...I'm healthy in mind, body and spirit and I'll always be healthy coz I'm Mr ORGANIC!!

  • @Ken2468WILD1 wrote : "I pray for the demise of Monsanto. I want this corporation annihilated!!!"

Definitely, but it isn't only Monsanto. There are several or more cies making gmo seeds, internationally. And there's an odd one, if not more than one, but since I only know of one for sure, I'll only refer to that cie. I think the name is Syngenta and believe it's European ; and, if that's accurate, then what strikes me as odd is having read that Europe banned GMO cropping for Europe.

  • @mikecorbeil - thanks for pointing that out.

Syngenta is a larger company than Monsanto and has been in the same business (crop husbandry (including GMOs)) for at least as long. Two years ago, their 'triple stack' hybrids led the industry for yield. Their newest offering is a seed with eight inserted traits.

Bayer, DuPont, BASF ... they all do the same thing as Monsanto.

They will certainly be happy when these sheep get rid of their nemisis Monsanto.

    Les

  • @CouldNotCareLes Yes!

I knew about European Syngenta and had it in mind when writing the post ; and also knew that there're other cies in this sick gmo/ge "business", but didn't recall which ones. I'm not a student in this field, say, but have read a few articles over the years and some named several culprit cies. It was already bad knowing about Monsanto, so when I later learned about several other cies also doing this crap with our world, oh, DEPRESSING! One's bad enough, thanks.

  • @CouldNotCareLes But when these cies are of Eu. or anywhere that gmo/ge is banned for agri., then it bothers me more than Monsanto does, as much as I despise that cie. Europe banned gmo/ge cropping in Eu., but they allow Eu. cies to practice the gmo/ge racket on 3rd-world countries. Washington allows gmo/ge in the USA, and promotes it abroad. It's quite unique. Europe has long been colonialist, etc., but it's rare that hellish Washington has integrity worth mentioning ; for amusement anyway :)

  • @Ken2468WILD1 Rather than making an effort to bring about their demise? Leave it to someone else right? Typical.

  • You have pretty hair

  • Great message! Please do a video on the effects of Round-Up (Atrazine) on the developing fetus (converts testosterone into estrogen, making males into females in the womb)! (I always wondered why I have pea sized… er.. um.. oh.. never mind *cough)! BTW my perception tells me you are a very; articulate, intelligent and beautiful person who does good things... Yea I noticed... lol... So keep up the great work, your making the world a better place! 8)

  • @rross27 Round-up's main ingredient is glyphosate, not atrazine. Here are some studies. "Roundup exposure may affect human reproduction and fetal development in case of contamination. Chemical mixtures in formulations appear to be underestimated regarding their toxic or hormonal impact." ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/17486286 "Glyphosate formulations induce apoptosis and necrosis in human umbilical, embryonic, and placental cells" ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/19105591

  • @rross27 More round-up studies "glyphosate is toxic to human placental JEG3 cells within 18 hr with concentrations lower than those found with agricultural use""We conclude that endocrine and toxic effects of Roundup, not just glyphosate, can be observed in mammals." ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/15929894 "Glyphosate-based herbicides are toxic and endocrine disruptors in human cell lines." ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/19539684

  • @myndy86 TY! Omg... that is scarry stuff. Outlawed in many places in Europe as well I think. 8P

  • also agave nectar, good for diabetics n tasty2

  • i am just gonna say it ... you are the most gorgeous scientist i have ever seen ! Great Job on the message .. you go girl lets get em one person at a time .. your a patriot too!

  • Pretty sure GMO's are banned in Norway, but I told people to stop using light products (that contain aspartame) and stop using round-up, I've also linked a few documentaries on monsanto to family and friends :>

I agree it's an important subject to focus on, but Monsanto isn't the only evil company in the food industry, so don't stay too fixed on the lion, lest the mouse bite you on the akle.

  • @Lleanlleawrg Ankle. Goddamn typo.

  • Convert to Sea Vegetables. The Circle Jerks at Monsanto cannot control the growth of Phytoplankton. I buy mine from Larch Hanson - theseaweedman.

  • I am amazed by people like you! thank you for all your effort in educating the world. Brilliant!!!

  • Google Monsanto Corn Organ Damage, RBGH, etc. There is even a link about him on Cancer.org, lol. He is linked to Cancer, Organ failure, etc. The man sucks AND he is associated with our new USDA Head Tom Vilsak. So, he has a horribad track record and his hand in his pockets so he can just do whatever he wants. I have kids and I want them to be able to have kids without worrying about cancer or wether their liver or kidney is gonna stop working.

  • @breakingelite2011 Being pretty doesn't mean you have to be dumb. There is a ton of research out there verifying what she is saying. Including a study published saying that his genetically modified corn causes organ failure in test rats. Why is most of this dudes shit banned in other countries? Because it is poison. Unfortunately, our country is primarily comprised of airheads such as yourself that choose to let someone else think for them rather than actually open their eyes. Idiocracy. GJ.

  • man you are so pretty it is hard to listen to you. That is only because i am pretty too and have been conditioned to compete thru beaty and not education. i am sorry but i cant listen to you i just feel you need a different approach , although you do have many ppl on your side and you wont watch my vids im sure my comment doent mean anything to you. that is fine. i just wish you had a diff approach

  • "Millions against Monsanto" campaign is funded by Merck and Rockefeller. You can also avoid Monsanto by avoiding the "Organic" Consumer's Association.

  • A Message to Monsanto:

Get the fuck out of Poland ! Take your nasty shit back home and choke your kids on it. Fuck off. Our politics are weak and will take your money, but the tion is strong and will fuck u up. Fucking spies!

  • Sorry this site won't take the Monsanto link you will have to type in the title in Google and choose the full version.

  • This video " The World According to Monsanto" is amazing. It is over an hour but once you watch it if you have a concience at all you will purchase only organic and ethically raised food. The only way to get through to these corporations is to boycott their products. Funny, the people in the UK did it and major chains food suppliers are not allowed to use GMO ingredients there but ok here

  • I love your video's and the info in them. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK

  • hey shelly

    still keeping up the fight

    god bless you

    jesus-is-savior com

  • right on..kill monsanto

  • check out my vid on how they were born

  • @RHINO0187 I guess it must be your first day on the internet as well, if you didn`t realize you can just put the quotes from the studies in a search engine and the studies will come up. I guess you found the studies and now you have no argument other than to question my ability to use the internet.

  • bla

  • The problem with trying to boycott Monsanto's products is that it requires reading labels and lists of ingredients on literally hundreds of different products. It is arguably harder than making the decision to go vegan while maximizing protein and B12 intake. Those with enough spare time to do the extensive research and successfully avoid giving money to Monsanto are most likely at least middle-class; doing this is impossible for the poor, since corn and soy appear in all the cheapest foods.

  • @sillygramcracker For the very poor I agree and am sad for them. I have a family of 4 and do this for .$400 a month. I do purchase my meat from an ethical farmer, grass fed, no drugs, by the 1/4. It is fairly doable for any working family, it requires some time to get it and put it into action but once you are on board it becomes very easy. You will feel better and since we have gotten rid of most of the toxins in our food I have gotten rid of 27 lbs as a side benefit!!

  • We don't allow monster trucks on our highways to crush the little economy cars. So why are we allowing Monster Monsanto to crush our economy? Why are we allowing that beast to run down and squash family farms, America's national treasures? Why are we allowing that road hog to poison us with its stinky exhaust?

We need to get Monster Monsanto off America's highways and put it in a corral where it belongs.

  • ECONOMY 101

The economy is like a garden -- not a sprawling agribusiness, with endless rows of one crop, but an organic garden, diversified, harmonious, and lush with new growth. Tend the economy garden this way:

    1. Support small businesses.

    2. Curb large corporations that bully them out of business.

    3. Supply more college funding for students.

    4. Facilitate more business loans to entrepreneurs.

    5. Buy American; keep American businesses in America.

Someone please put a leash on Monster Monsanto!

  • FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUCK MONSANTO!!!!!!

  • Vinegar is a natural herbicide and that's all I use.

  • @TealAlloy THANK YOU! When I tell people all of the things that vinegar can do, they are incredulous and think I'm nuts. Apple cidar vinegar CURES strept throat overnight. White distilled vinegar kills skin infections and is an excellent sterilizer. And there are many, many more examples.

  • aspartame is bad for you?

  • @thelightingfury blatantly

  • @thelightingfury However, it is one only among the many things that are equally bad. There are more serious issues than aspartame, but it probably would be better to eat sugar instead of aspartame. Since it's sweet but not nutritious, it seriously messes with your head. Sugar addiction must be addressed differently.

  • Convert to Seaweed, monsanto can't control the growth of Phytoplankton.

    He He He...

  • @MichaelBoryAlis lol that's epic. :P

  • I actually partially know one of the directors of Monsanto and strangely enough, apart from being a secret inhuman person.. He has cancer! How about that?!

  • @TheGuguParty If this is true then there is a god karma is a bitch!

  • "If the people of this country are really stupid enough to allow a bully, toxic chemical company to genetically morph the world's seed supply, then we all deserve the consequences. " That's not completely fair. I'm only just learning about this, and it's only through my own curiousity. Noone told me about it, and it's not like it's on TV or in the papers. It now falls on the informed to spread the word. Being negative won't help anyone.

  • @RHINO0187 LMAO! Youtube doesn`t allow links in the comments. You have to add h t t p : / / w w w . without spaces at the begining of the links and in some cases you have to change the "dot" to a .

You can also put the quotes from the studies in a search engine like google and I`m sure you will find the studies, if not I will send them to you in a private message. If you looked at the science you would have already read most of these studies and wouldn`t be accusing me of making stuff up.

  • FUCK MONSANTO IM AN ORGANIC VEGETARIAN FUCK ALL OF YOU DUMB SHOPPERS

  • I don't understand the dislikes here. People who want to die? People who want to bow and kiss the feet of Monsanto. What the heck? Those forty something dislikes have to be from people who work for Monsanto. But even then I don't get it. If I worked for Monsanto I would have to quit, or maybe kill myself. I wouldn't dislike this video.

  • Monsanto is a good company, I hate it when people spread these lies without anything to back them up.

  • @RHINO0187 fuck you sheeple

  • @Met0llicA sheepie? You mean like all the sheep who buy natural foods thinking they are getting some kind of benefit? All they are doing are lining somebodies pockets, while getting nothing but back but promises of a better life.

  • and i hate people like you who believe in corporations, go read moar!!!!

  • @Met0llicA : go look who is driving the organic food markets, corporations for the most part. You don't even have to read to find that out, just open your eyes. What's so bad about funding corporations though anyway, they have many workers who need to feed their families as well.

  • @RHINO0187 Then grow your own or buy from people in your community that are growing thier own, you don't need all these 'organic' products. It's amazing what you can do with simple things like baking soda, vinigar and lemon juice. This system we have locked ourself into can not continue, resources at the rate we are consuming them are finite, we need to be growing most of our own food locally if we are to survive. Simply having the funds to feed yourself is not living it's existing in servitude.

  • @RHINO0187 Sorry dude, but 'round these parts people trust science more than the dollar. Sure Monsanto is just a company trying to provide people jobs and make food easier to grow and harvest, but that's where the line is drawn about how "good" they are.

There are more health studies as well. Do you want environment and economic studies too? Trust science more than the dollar.

  • fools use cheap vinegar not Round up

  • To All Organic Alfalfa Farmers: When your fields get contaminated with Monsanto's GMO alfalfa, sue Monsanto. A law suit is the only language that a company like Monsanto can comprehend. Sue Monsanto 10 times for every American farmer Monsanto has sued.

  • BUY ORGANIC.

  • Who the FUCK are the 38 people who DON'T like this? HUH? John W. Bachmann, you fucked up piece of shit... you one of those 38?

  • @26ichiro the 38 people who dont like this video are monsanto employees, daily watchers of Fox news, and ugly fat chics.... :P

  • @ToxicDreamer Codex Alimentarius is a part of the 2nd phase of the Jesuit plan to bring the whole world under the subjection of the Papacy and to restart persecution. This is encapsulated within a 300 year plan to counter the reformation. The 1st phase started in 1965 at the end of the Vatican II council. The 2nd phase started in October 2009. Codex Alimentarius was to pass just 2 months later in December of 2009. Bees are being poisoned by Jesuit Roundup spliced into GMO seeds.

  • I can't get pass how beautiful and lovely she was created. Thank you, Lord, and thank you to your parents.

  • Cancer will find Monsanto employees. It will be a terrible cancer. While writhing in indescribable waves of hideous agony, the Monsanto employee will be mocked and laughed at. If you work for or support Monsanto, then you get the cancer and cancer will eat your components. Thank you. :)

  • @699backstab at the rate nuclear power plants are breaking down everyone will have the cancer.... :P

  • @407buddy l agree, its not kosher.

  • I have been preaching to these manufactures for years to build a good Electric weed trimmer that can use metal blades or heavy line & they still have Not done It Troy Built made the TB50 which was good but they discontinued It, Black & Decker made the Grass Hog 1000 which was nicer because Its more powerful but the plastic gear would quick to melt & Not repairable. Green Works now has the best one on the market 5.5 amp but still Not good enough.

  • Under orders from the Hungarian Ministry of Rural Development, 1,000 acres of GMO corn were recently destroyed in Hungary.

    ---

Despite pressure from biotech companies like Monsanto and the executive branch of the European Union, Hungary has successfully fought to keep Monsanto's morphed DNA from contaminating their food crops.

    ---

But Americans seem largely content to be Monsanto's guinea pigs. To all you survivors out there: Grow Your Own Food ...!

  • Monsanto doesn't exist! you're all Conspiracy Theorists and you're paranoid! Anne Coulter said Nuclear radiation is good for you! >.<

  • Stay away from anything that contains corn period. Monsanto teams up with companies like Purdue and forces farmers to buy feed from Monsanto.

  • They are truly an evil and vile company. Enough said!

  • They are truly an evil and vile company. Enough said!

  • @407buddy what does being a vegetarian have to do with exposing monsanto? dont be stupid.

  • I love you

  • @rclark23 .. What are you talking about? For all intensive purposes, to a layperson on YouTube, sugar is pure. Some sugar products have impurities, but no pesticides, no manmade chemical residues, and certainly not any "animal DNA". You say I don't know chemistry, but really this is a chemistry and biology issue. I am well verses and well informed in both areas, I assure you. But if you would indulge me, please explain how "animal DNA" could get into sugar. Do you even know what sugar is? Do yo

  • @lsucowboy You should learn MORE about Sugar-Narcotic

Sugar- The Most Damaging Narcotic in the History of Civilization

As a result we are undernourished, overfed and loaded with toxins beyond the ability of the body to throw them off. It is a long recognized axiom that any organism that is unable to excrete its waste,

    dies.

  • Oh yeah, encouraging subsistence farmers to grow cash crops can be devastating. In the Indian cotton belt the importation of subsidized US cotton has caused prices to fall. The more expensive GMOs sold to Indian farmers have caused an alarming rise in farmer suicides. At one time most small farmers used 80% of their crops for subsistence, growing wide varieties from traditional seeds. Now, the growers that switched to Monsanto seeds are in debt, forced to sell their land and work as laborers.

  • :) well done

  • Looks like the pesticide industry knew from its own studies (including one by Monsanto) as long ago as the 1980s—and EU regulators knew since the 1990s—that Roundup causes birth defects. A new report by international scientists now exposes the cover-up. The study was prompted by reports of high rates of birth defects and cancers in areas of South America growing GM Roundup Ready soy, which is sprayed with high doses of Roundup. Wake up!

  • @gerrygermoney : You are so true too! During World War II Victory Gardens were everywhere - even on the white house lawn. Once lots of us are growing our own food, Monsanto will be a non-issue.

    -----

I encourage everyone to watch "The World According to Monsanto" (google it). How do you fight back? Grass Roots: buy organic whenever you can; support your local organic farmers; spread the word about Monsanto in any way you feel comfortable; and best of all: Grow Your Own!

  • Corporate hegemony is the dry rot of American civilization and the Monsanto Company is a prime example of extreme corporate hegemony. If the people of this country are really stupid enough to allow a bully, toxic chemical company to genetically morph the world's seed supply, then we all deserve the consequences. We grow our own food - I suggest everyone reading this do the same, unless you believe your body will mutate into one that can safely consume and digest Monsanto's "creations".

  • @357935x

    You're so true!

After having learned that, regardless of GMOs, junk, masked as food, made me ill, I started a tiny farm on our terrace to raise some of my food!

Now I'm looking for partners to buy an abandoned farmhouse with an adjoining acre of land!

As I don't need corn, milk, pots or wheat for my diet any longer, an acre will feed a couple of freaks like me!

If the soil's not dead and plants are fed well with water, Mother Nature does a great job!

    Greetz and h a n d!
