  • Dat Marf need moar grab!

  • lol at emma watson's boyfriend XDD

  • generally speaking going for the shieldbreak is giving up other options you need to cover

and most of the opponents, when they know their shield is close to breaking, are on the look out for marth's neutral B

so in the current meta, marth's usually use it to make the opponent not want to shield to eliminate some of their options

  • @knihThink What?? marth's neutral B doesn't break shields for shit. It's not used because it's a horrible move. I, along with nearly everyone I've ever played against, don't give a crap if a marth wants to use that move on my shield, the only thing it ever amounts to is a free shieldgrab lol

  • @PlayerPandu don't discredit an entire move because it can't or shouldn't be used in certain situations because you can counter it

tell me how you're going to shieldgrab one from behind, or if it hits you from below a platform, of if he spaces it on your shield

shieldbreak isn't a move that should be used often, it's slow doesn't combo, and does pretty pathetic %

but it is good for when your opponents shield has already taken some damage, and you want to make em not shield for a while.

  • Is sheild breaking legal because that Marth had chances or is it just not used.

  • @lonewander3931 Marth's neutral B is rarely (read, never) used to shield pressure because it takes an inordinate amount of time to charge to be effective at breaking a shield. Falcon in shield can simply wavedash out of shield away then punish.
