red steel 2 is a reboot; it's not really a sequel except in name.
the concept is partially the same, since you go all over the place killing people, and you use both swords and guns. however, instead of it being an fps with some crappy 1-on-1 swordfights, it's a first-person action game where you switch between a sword and gun at ANYTIME you want. and, the sword controls are nothing like the first; the motion controls are extremely accurate thanks to motion+. the gun controls are also refined.

I have this game. Completed it in six and a half hours. I agree it did fail miserably for being the first first person shooter game on the Wii. Even Call Of Duty 3 was better on it, and that was the forgotten call of duty. COD 3 is the game no one gives a shit about. And so I Red Steel. But overall I enjoyed it. It would have been worse if it was on rails.
the wii version is pretty much the same, except the graphics suck (even for a wii game), the single-player has framerate issues, the controls are different, and the online multiplayer is only 10 players and has NO voice chat (and yes, you will need friend codes in order to play with friends).
overall, i think that the 360 version is superior, but not THAT much. both versions have the same single-player levels and multiplayer modes, but wii doesn't have DLC maps
Yeah there is, but they really have improved it, they made it possible to shoot someone instead of fighting them with a sword, but some people have thick armor so you have to have a sword fight. Still it looks like a great improvement.
The duck/jump buttons NEVER confused me once, WTF?

Well, for me it was fun, games being too easy is only a big problem for Replayability and for games that have a lot of repetition, but considering how long Galaxy is and how much variety the game has, I don't mind it.

i agree with alot of what u say, but i like red steel's multiplayer, it is very glitchy but when its me vs my friend the "WT* ! U JUST *ING JUMPED THROUGH A *ING WALL AND KILLED ME IN ONE *ING SHOT WITH A *ING PISTOL!" makes it more interesting lol but the game does stink if ur alone, overall, id buy it for under 20$

haha i looked at gameplay vids and reviews for this too see if i was gona buy it for 8 dollars and i like the gameplay and i think that if youve played other wii games youll see that most other games have sucky sensitivity for example in call of duty the guy wont turn around sometimes and for some unknown reason will point up and start spinning uncontrollably while your trying to kill 5 people shooting at you

Medal of honor heros 2 is pretty blah too, maybe not as much as this but blah none the less. I'd buy wii half life 1 just so that I could have something decent even if its a old game. :( I might why are the wii games worst than 10 year old games?

Age has nothing to do with Quality, Super Mario Bros. 3 is a Masterpiece, but Action 52, a game barely any younger sucks ASS!

I have a wii and 360 and im not really impressed with my wii.The only games I really play is maio kart wii and ssbb.but they get old fast and I dont understand what is so great about metroid.I think its worse then your average crappy ass shooter.I mean i gave it a try but 2 me its just not fun.Dont get me wrong i like my wii but like all the games are so repetitive and get old fast.maybe I just dont have the right games.I have SSBB,Metroid,WiiSports,Mariokart,galaxy,excitetruck,and Armageddon

But the one that is my favorite is Mario Kart Wii.The Diffculty is hard.Many Chracters.A wide vareity of bikes and karts to choose from.The Raceaways are awesome.Alot of detail.The graphics are really thoght into.You can use your Mii.And most Of All WiFi Connection

But ONE GAME that totally pisses me off is the Much loved, Super Smash Bros Brawl.Its only fun with 2+ people.The chracters are easy to unlock.And to many copies.Lucario-Mewtwo.Gannondwarf-Cpt.Falcon.Link-Toon Link.Also,since the chracters can't talk its kinda hard to understand the story.But one good thing is the Difficulty.Unlike many other games like redsteel.The Maze Level is quite challengeing.

Yeah, Brawl is fun, but only if you're the type of person who'll challenge yourself, like the guys who beat Megaman X6 without getting any armor or Zero (Like myself). I found it fun to unlock all those achievement thingies.

I totally hate Mario galaxy.Even though i am a fan of the mario series the game pissed me off.Levels were too easy.While I did enjoy the music.And the red star was a nice addtion.
It was kinda the same thing as Super Mario Sunshine.You have a ally.The little star.And the water machine.The worlds had Sunshine Stars.Here Stars too.And the bosses too easy.

Well, for me it was fun, games being too easy is only a big problem for Replayability and for games that have a lot of repetition, but considering how long Galaxy is and how much variety the game has, I don't mind it.

though it was like metroid ...metroid had better graphics,easier aiming and cool upgrades.And very interative.Like redsteel.But redsteel has a retarted story to me because...You have to go through many levels which are very easy,unlike metroid the sory is actually cool and its very hard and makes you think.
