  • In my opinion, polls greatly underestimate the percentage of atheists in the US. I mean there used to be a time in which I would say I was a Christian, even on paper, just to fit in. But at no time in my life have I ever been anything but an atheist.

  • The sign just brings up the question. I will not de convert you but it makes you think. Or maybe a atheist kid is in a religious family and doesn't know that there are others like him.

  • Wow, it seems like those meek Christians have flocked to your video. Thumbs up if it helps :)

  • I think people are misunderstanding what you've said in this video.

  • I dont know why you have so many down votes brotther... great video. fuck religion.

  • As for Exacerbatedtaboo, you have more courage than I for making this video.

  • @MrImmoli Thank You! :D

  • @exacerbatedtaboo thank u bro. with love alpha.

  • It's not the sign it's that Christians are smarter then Athiest think. It started with this one bilboard but now this year they put up a sign that say's "You know it's a myth this year celebrate reason" They knew that this would lead to something worse. Even last year we saw them put up signs next to courthouses in which the state decided to be kind and bend the law for the holiday season and allow a menorah, christmas tree, and manger scene in the courthouse.

  • @knowamericaknowbible Another issue about the courthouse is that it is a workspace, shouldn't the judges that work there be allowed to decorate for Christmas? The signs were fine at first but now since we gave them an inch they are going to take it a mile.

  • It is a pity that people do not understand the ramifications of inmorality.

  • What is so immoral about putting up billboards? That's not the what the definition of immoral. And if you really want to get into what's moral and what's not then why are there so many more Christians in prison then there are atheists?

  • I do not know the source of ur statistics. However, that point is baseless as you can debunk a claim by proving another claim that does not contradicts my assertion.

As to inmorality, I did not say that this is inmoral. I said people do not understand the ramifications of inmorality. That is to say, this is a ramification/consequence of inmorality.

The inference process how this is a product of inmorality is another leg of the stool.

  • I mean "you cannot debunk..."

  • The source of my statistics is the Federal Bereau of Prisons. What is your source for claiming putting up a sign is immoral?

  • Probably, you put together all who claim to be a Christian into the same group, and other people split into several groups: Atheists, Satanists, Wicca, etc. All those should be in the non-Christian cluster.

I said that putting up a that sort of sign is a consequence of inmorality.

  • Actually, you are dead wrong in your statistics. You are probably believeing what u wanna believe. In some business, they onty hire Christians as they do not rely on other to handle valueable things. For instancem Jewelry sellers. I have heard that.

I think your stats comes from thin air.

  • No I didn't....Get the statistics or call the federal bureau of prisions yourself. Again I maintain. You don't know what the word immoral means nor do you know how to spell it. I could just as easily say that putting up a religious billboard is the same the as trying to brainwash someone or scare them into believing in a god. Which you aren't going to do to me. I also love how you say people that "claim" to be christians like they are incapable of doing wrong. Please! Self righteous much?

  • In deed, what you asked yourself why is it that, for instance, homosexuals claim that homosexuality is something natural like being male or female. But why is it that our society is not model to deal with this?

Consider also the fact that Homosexuals have already existed. Hav you also thought about why it is that everytime homosecuality is widely accpeted by a society, this dissappears?

Have you thought about that? Why is it that there is no society with homosecualty widely accepted ..

  • Do you really want to throw homosexuality in the mix here? Homosexuality isn't accepted for the same exact reasons black people weren't the much of history. People like you are intolerant bigots who use religion as an excuse to say that you are better than minority groups. You know. Like atheists as well. I'm glad to know you're a bigot too though.

  • Ok, thi conversation is over for two reasons: 1) u insulted me, in order to make your claims look stronger, and 2) you do not get what I am saying, but that could be due to my broken English.

  • ... since two thousand years ago? .. Wll, the reason is very simple, as the society pushes for the acceptance of this values, people start to support or vote for representatives that support this sort of values. While at the same time, these societies are brought down by the corruption of their institutions.

I do not know if i made it clear with my broken English.

  • to put up a sign like this, you need to be willing to push for the acceptance of a set of values. Thus it is not puting the sign what is inmoral, but pushing for the values. This sign is a symptom of a much graver problem. That why I said it is a ramification.

So people for preaching the disbelief in God, is advocating for those values that bring down societies. Like it ot not, Christians values are the only values that can succesfully rule a society.

  • Please, first check your examples.

  • @Tlincali don't forget Japan.

They have religion.. it's nothing like christianity and etc though

  • @agfigueroaa "Like it ot not, Christians values are the only values that can succesfully rule a society."

Prov.23-13 the child: for if thou beat him with the rod, he shall not die. Thou shalt beat him with the rod.

Deut 21-18 If a man have a stubborn son, which will not obey the voice of his father... all the men of his city shall stone him with stones, that he die.

Psalm 137-9 Happy shall he be, that taketh and dasheth thy little ones against the stones.

    Good Christian values... NOT!

  • @JabberCT There are two things in your post:

    1. Your intention is misleading as the first and last excerpt are from books bearing a lot of metaphorical content, and

    2. The three verses are in the OT:

On top of that, I wonder why you did not post the passage in the NT "love your enemies"? What about "you have to forgive seventy times seven"?

Anyways, you say "Chirstian values no!", what else then? Atheistic values? What are they? Today, children are raised with no value and we are far worse.

  • @agfigueroaa Because the bible contradicts everything it says. Mostly, the NT contradicts the atrocities and barbaric nature of the OT. As a non-believer, i look at things as is. And not what makes me more comfortable. The OT is supposedly Gods true word. The NT is his kid. Daddy rules the roost. And he says beat kids and stone them to death.

Atheist values - Harming others is wrong and there are man-made laws to punish you where you end up in jail. Thats it. And it seems to work just fine.

  • @JabberCT I guess the issue is accepting the character of God.

As for the Atheist's value that "seem to work just fine". Actually, what you say is a flat lie. I guess what you mean is "harming others is wrong as long as u do not get caught." Atheism is built on top of Utilitarianism. If you can build a society predicated on that, while nor harming the weakest people, then drop me a line.

Atheism has killed by far more people than Christianity. Just think on greed.

What is the moral u promote?

  • @agfigueroaa Its not a lie. Stop doing what Christians do best. Twisting words and meanings for your own devilish ideas.

"Atheism is built on top of Utilitarianism." Atheism has nothing to do with morals. Its logical thinking. Thats it. Morals come from a your upbringing and common sense.

"Atheism has killed by far more people than Christianity."

GREAT FLOOD? Sodom and Gomorrah? Inquisition? Witch trials? Ireland? Abortion clinic bombings? Pagan genocide? Rwanda genocide? Give me a break.

  • @JabberCT It is a lie, and the fact that you say it is not lie does not make it true. And u keep lying, "Atheism has nothing ... logical thinking". Atheism is just another religion, it is that simple. According to the widely accepted definition of Niniam Smart, Atheism is a religion lacking of rituals. The description you provide comes from your brain, thus irrelevant.

My bible teaches "Greed is a sin". Capitalism has shown the consequences of greed: poverty and famines in Africa, for instance.

  • @agfigueroaa Sorry, but harming others is still bad no matter how many times you call it a lie. By constantly saying its a lie shows you like hurting others and dont want it to be true. So much for your morals. And good job avoiding every act of genocide by Christians. Im sure you fooled someone out there, but unfortunately anyone you fooled probably cant tie their own shoes. "Atheism is a religion." And who do we worship again? Huge fail. You can keep twisting words, but its not helping you.

  • @JabberCT I was trying to follow one line of argument, but you seem to move from one to the other as you cannot prove anything you say.

  • @agfigueroaa

Calling atheism a religion is like calling theism a religion.

Just so you know, there are religions out there that don't require the belief of a god, You can be an atheist and a buddist, It doesn't mean you have to religions, just that you have one religion and that religion does not have any gods.

I doubt you believe you are following two religions, the religion of Christianity and the religion of theism, but that is what you are claiming when you say atheism is a religion.

  • @MrImmoli Lets sat a man is an atheist and a Buddist, so he can have his personal atheist-buddist religion. But, your point support my claim as atheism is a religion without rituals, and buddism has rituals. So you now can get why you are saying what u said. Anyways, atheism needs evolution "to make it intellectually possible".

  • @agfigueroaa

This is a statement that is total and utter horse shit. There haven't been enough examples around to even test your theory, much less even make your assanine and incredibly stupid conjecture.

You are SO utterly full of shit, you're one of those people that acts like atheists lack morals, and I take EXTREME offense that inference.

I have MUCH stronger morals than ANY christian I know, so honestly, FUCK YOU for suggesting otherwise.

And yes, I use offensive language online.

  • @agfigueroaa your an idiot, and its immoral not inmoral

  • @MarkoOfTheFunk Thanks for helping me to brush up on my English (2nd Language).

  • @agfigueroaa no, your wrong, you know the last time everyone had Christian values. That was the dark ages. Don't pull that shit.

  • @Shawn21769 When people like you were telling other not to pull "their shit"... get urself educated.

  • @agfigueroaa That's stupidly false, and leads me to believe that you are a stupid person. Like it or not, Christians values allow for people to touch little boys, commit genocides, be bigots, be hateful, be arrogant, shoot a children's camp in Norway.

So people for preaching the belief in "god", is advocating for those values that can bring down societies. Religious people are terrible. You think you know it all, but you don't really know much of anything.

  • @Grimtheorist What blind you are. You might start to see after doing a serious research. Check the number of atrocities by unbelievers. It might be that the Christians you pointed out are not truly Christians.

Absent cherry-picking, your argument is false.

  • @agfigueroaa

If that statement wasn't sarcastic... then it was the most stupid statement I think I have ever heard in my entire life. No one who has ever been outside their house could be so ignorant as to say something like that and be serious. The stupidity of it numbs my mind.

  • Good points -- Freedom of speech, what a concept! I guess a lot of people don't quite get the concept of "Be good for goodness sake."

Me, I support the atheists' right to not put a church on any corner they want. ;-)

  • LOL...I'm still a little camera shy and not comforatable with talking to a webcam. Hopefully I'll losen up a little more as I use it so I can communicate my point a little more effectively....Thanks for watching.
