i want to be a setter but they don't allow me bec. im 5'11" and in Philippines its more likely with that height u will be an attacker. this video is so informative thanks ^^
on rotation serve rec. the reason why you its bad for the orange guy to be in front of the green and purple guy is bcuz ur feet over lap and the reff will call it. so for a lil help WATCH your feet. and keep moving
Would you be able to send me this file? I am a math teacher/volleyball coach, and have some experience with Geometer's Sketchpad, however, not with the animations. If you'd rather not share, I completely understand. Thanks!
this is a 6-2 (given F.RS(S) sets from back row) because all 6 players will swing when they are front row and the 2 setters will set when in back. Most teams play a 5-1 though.
someone please message me back with this! I'm in volleyball at palms springs freshman year and Whenever its time for rotations when we are practicing a real game I have know idea what she is talking about when it comes to rotations I really need help with every rotation thing because she gets mad whenever we don't get it right but its just because we have no idea where to go and when to go i already know about the server rotation thing please help i really need to get better seriously!
The program is called Geometer's Sketchpad. It is designed for the math classroom and I use it in a very non-intended use. It can be purchased from their website.
I'm a club team coach and I like what you have been able to do with the Geometer program. I have downloaded the free preview version and am trying to figure out how you make the circles move between when you click the different buttons. Where do I find out how to make that work? Thanks for your input.
Good video. I have some coaching feedback though on covering hits. At 5:00 you show a scenario where the outside hitter is set and you have the FrMH covering and the FrRH in back up position. My experience is that if your FrMH is running quicks he/she can never actually get out there to cover so instead we have both Backrow players in this rotation come in to cover along with the setter we then place the FrMH where you have the FrRH players and we have the FrRH rotate to the center of the court.
