Throat hit? For me, smoking gives me a very small dizzyness in the head (almost a tiny feeling of feeling drunk) and thats why I smoke, because I like that dizzyness. take up hookah. dude most hookah tobaccos have barley any nicotine and a good sesh lasts about an hour a half so ur good for nicotine for a whole day at least and it has no tar in it so no nasty smells or shit in ur house turning yellow and hookah helped me quit.

I got my first one on the internet.. Looked like a black pen. At first I was a little disappointed in the amount of vapor produced. Then learned that keeping the battery charged and cartridges fresh a decent amount came out. After a couple of days I really began to enjoy using it. Got a more expensive model that produced more vapor. Just like a regular cig. Honestly, I can't stand the thought of normal cigs now and have a pack sitting here for 2 weeks. Def prefer the ecig now that I'm used to it

We started one year and a half ago rolling our own cigs. We buy Tube Cut (Gambler) tobacco and we use Premier filters with a premier supermatic II machine. It is pretty good and cheap compared to the cigs you buy in packs at the store (we live in MD and the Marlboro cost something like $6.05 a pack as now, they were $3.52 or some like that 3 years ago). Those "roll your own" ones aren't that heavy and full of chemicals like the regular cigs, although we want to try this ecig just to cut some off

The only thing I have to disagree with here is the taste factor. I know this is an old video but it's one that I watched 11 months ago when I too was researching e-cigs for the first time.
Depending on the liquid, the taste can be very strong.. of course there is no eliquid I have had that tastes exactly like a cigarette.. but then why would I really want to subject myself to that??
In any case, there are a huge variety of flavours available and while some are weak others are very potent.
@jax252000 Iv only had ecigs for 3 days now, but iv noticed a change. I used to smoke 2 packs a day, but I had been able to cut back to a half a pack before e cigs. The first day my lung capacity had an obvious change. So far I havent noticed anything more. (I think thats because I wasent putting a new "layer" of tar on my lungs?) I don't know, Im not a doctor lol. But if you smoke e cigs, your lungs will eventually repair themselves.

I agree, but at a certain point,smoking cigarettes can pass the point of enjoyment and turn into disgusting habit. I'm completely fine with smoking a few times a week, and smoking like a fiend when drinking on the weekends but i just feel bad for people who smoke like a pack a day or more. Its non addictive and tastes so much better than tobacco.

The only thing I have to disagree with here is the taste factor. I know this is an old video but it's one that I watched 11 months ago when I too was researching e-cigs for the first time.
Depending on the liquid, the taste can be very strong.. of course there is no eliquid I have had that tastes exactly like a cigarette.. but then why would I really want to subject myself to that??
In any case, there are a huge variety of flavours available and while some are weak others are very potent.

@jax252000 Iv only had ecigs for 3 days now, but iv noticed a change. I used to smoke 2 packs a day, but I had been able to cut back to a half a pack before e cigs. The first day my lung capacity had an obvious change. So far I havent noticed anything more. (I think thats because I wasent putting a new "layer" of tar on my lungs?) I don't know, Im not a doctor lol. But if you smoke e cigs, your lungs will eventually repair themselves.

I got an e-cig and have not had the desire for a tobacco cig since.
As far as not smoking tobacco, this is the best tool I've seen to stop tobacco smoke. You don't suffer at all. I've done gum, patch, lozenge. . . . they never satisfy. This does.

stop making comments about his nose ring, respect him.Any addiction is a biological affinity,nicotine speeds up your basal metabolism, it is like the fuel I need to keep going the way I like...I have been smoking moderately(five cigarettes a day) for almost 45 years and my lungs feel perfectly well,so is my general health considering I am 58 years old.Those little pleasures we smokers feel when we inhale nicotine will never be understood by non smokers.e-cigarettes seem to be a real revolution.

Jeff, nice vid. Very good info for folx making the transition. In my own journey I've decided (much as you) that I can have a cig anytime I want ... I agree, but at a certain point,smoking cigarettes can pass the point of enjoyment and turn into disgusting habit. I'm completely fine with smoking a few times a week, and smoking like a fiend when drinking on the weekends but i just feel bad for people who smoke like a pack a day or more. At that point, its just bad for you. I'm going to turn to ecigs just because I end up killing a pack when I drink on the weekends and wake up sounding and feeling like a zombie.

@steve0crzy I'd say that the main reason why people smoke is because they got addicted at a young age whether it be curiosity, peer pressure or they had no information on the risks of smoking tobacco. No sensible adult would pick up this habit knowing its gonna cause numerous health problems. I started smoking cannabis and haven't been able to smoke a cig since. Its non addictive and tastes so much better than tobacco.

@steve0crzy A lot of them start because it is "cool" or because they are curious (or because they want to get addicted so that it WILL feel good... aka stupid) and then they continue bc they are addicted to it. They smell, spend hundreds of dollars a month, have to plan their day around smoking. It's not convenient. Not to mention dying from lung cancer at 40 looking 99 and smelling like the death rot vapors of your dying lungs : / I can't quit for more than a few months at a time.
