I don't know how to put this, but, let's say I have 10 analog guitar pedals, can I store presets into the All Access? so I don't have to tweak the knobs and shit everytime I finish a song? You know what I mean? is that possible?
On 3:28 you say that you can switch another 2 effect-units with the remaining buttons 14 and 15. How am I able to control another 2 effect-units, if the RG-16 doesn't contain more that 8 audio loops?
@felixu2fan If you have other effects, like a rackmount effects processor, or other MIDI-capable device, you can control them. We also offer the Effect Gizmo with 12 loops and the Mini Effect Gizmo with 5 loops, both of which can be used alone or in conjunction with the RG-16.
@manchaybet We make a few others, the Effect Gizmo and the Mini Effect Gizmo, and there are a couple of other products by other companies that also would do the job.
Hi, I have an All-access and an Effect Gizmo. I've just bought a TimeFactor and a ModFactor by Eventide (to replace a bunch of analog pedals). Now I only have a compressor and an od before the amp, and the Eventides and a volume boost in the fx loop of my CAA OD50. The problem is I'd like to use various presets from the eventides... Is it possible to have instant access buttons control the eventides ? (let's say 2 buttons for 2 delay presets and 3 buttons for 3 modulation presets) Thanx a lot.
@PumpkinFan123 You can put 8 effects in the RG-16 (you don't plug any effects into the All Access). The effects can be multi-effects, pedals, preamps, etc. The RG-16 can switch any audio signal.
@FullmetalFan500 No, you don't need anything to set up the Rocktron. The pedals plug into the RG-16 - there are 8 send/return loops that your pedals plug into. The RG-16 accepts commands from the All Access and switches the pedals in and out of your signal path without you having to stomp on the pedals individually.
@FullmetalFan500 You don't need the RG-16 present to set up the All Access. The pedals plug into the RG-16 - it has 8 input/output groups that all the pedals connect to.
It's intended to work with stompboxes. That way, you can get automated switching of effects like a multi-effect processor would, but you can still use your favorite effects - you won't be stuck with one kind of chorus, reverb, etc...
hello from greece! one question: can I use the all access to control both my preamp-modulation racks and my TC Voice Works rack, which is for vocals? thank you
You need the RG-16 unit to switch everything, so it's much easier to do in a rack. Some people have mounted their RG-16 inside their pedalboard, which takes some work (and a custom pedalboard), but that works just as well.
Actually, that's one of the main features of the RG-16 (and the Amp Gizmo) - it allows you to have MIDI control of amps that don't have MIDI built-in.
thanks, your videos help me a lot to have an idea about midi controllers, what brand is the rack case that have the compartment to put the foot effects??
It's actually a standard 8-space rack with a 1-space sliding rack drawer for the pedals. It's a great way to get a lot of effects in a relatively small rack. Dave Friedman of Rack Systems in North Hollywood (California) planned it out and did the wiring for us.
Can you post a video with the RG-16, some effects and two amplifier heads that would run at the same time? DO you think the all access is better than a ground control pro or are they virtually the same except for price?
I mean, different presets from a single pedal, so that I can have 3 kinds of chorus made up from 1 pedal.

@GreenGrayRain Only with pedals that have presets (like the Eventide ModFactor.)

@rjmmusic Oh, I see :( thanks for the quick reply.

Are you using a 7-Pin cable here? If you don't; is there any difference in setting up the Rocktron with another cable such as the 5-Pin ?

@nenad1974 I don't think you could do it with the instant access buttons, but you could easily do it from the preset buttons.

THANK YOU! Four minutes of your video did more than 4 hours of head scratching with the all access manual!
