What was once a hellish situation, could be resolved diplomatically. This was almost settled back in the 90's but due to death conviently it all started back up again. Life should be precious, and both sides should work together to stop the oppression that no doubt goes on on both sides of the fence.

What was once a hellish situation, could be resolved diplomatically. This was almost settled back in the 90's but due to death conviently it all started back up again. Life should be precious, and both sides should work together to stop the oppression that no doubt goes on on both sides of the fence.

@moshdragon Sorry brother but diplomacy doesn't work. Look at what Mahmoud Abbas is doing -- he intends to diplomatically find peace by creating Palestinian recognition for statehood in the United Nations. He has also been able to achieve recognition for Palestine in UNESCO. However in response Netanyahu called Abbas' actions and desire for statehood as an "act of war" -- he also accelerated the building of illegal settlements on Palestinian territories, Israel doesn't want peace.... =(

@cssftw100 It seems to me it is much more the Gov'ts in charge that simply want each other gone whilst the people of both nations probably could survive equally if they could see past their minascule differences. From what I gather Isreal fears that if Palistine gets statehood, if they were to be attacked their previous backing in the UN would be gone and they would be wiped out, I see good arguments on both sides, but I see no solution till both sides are willing to sit down together and talk.

@moshdragon Hamas is a political party that wants to destroy Israel. Obviously peace in the Gaza Strip will never occur. Let's look at the West Bank lead by Fatah president, Mahmoud Abbas. Abbas has made West Bank violence disappear, yet is there any opportunity for peace? NO. I'll tell you why, Israel purposely constructs illegal settlements on Palestinian occupied territories. It's as though we were next door neighbours and I built an extension of my house on ur backyard - they dont want peace
