  • The Coolermaster Elite is not a good case, try the Coolermaster HAF 912 for a midi tower instead. The price is twice, but the difference is "the day versus the night" :-)

  • that is a pussy video card lol

  • my old case is that case. antec 900 2 now.

  • I plug the cables into the drives before inserting them..if you new to this it makes it a little easier, less chance that you will bend some pins. Another tip...red stripe on cable always goes next to the power connector (at least on all the drives I've seen).

  • music made me nervous

  • does anyone know if a pci-e x16 (2.1) card will work on a 2.0 slot on my motherboard?

  • @dalekdestoryer I don't know, I've been wondering the same thing, but I don't think it will.

  • Man that music is like some lame ass porno music.

  • You don't need to ground your self if there's no power you fucking idiot also how the fuck could you ground your self using a screwdriver? Retard.

  • @TehCacti

You ground yoursef to prevent a static discharge which can destroy a chip.

  • @TehCacti Its called static charge, you don't need AC/DC electricity to shock a chip; and I thought they taught about static in fourth grade...

  • @GatremagWenYm You are absolutely right, as you can see I left the comment 8 months ago I was a didn't know anything then.

  • im terrified that something will go wrong with my parts... it's a scary experience, tbh

  • how do i know where does which power cable go?

  • Nice how to. Some good tips in there!

  • what is your wrist strap connected to?

  • it is so when he puts in the mother board and stuff it doesnt shock it from static electricity and fry the boards

  • @soccaman847 Lol his wrist strap is connected to the metal case. Its so he doesn't get shocked. Don't ask how i know that.....

  • thank you (the first time lol - dont want to get that *slap lololo). Very helpful - you inspired me!

  • I Have That Ram

  • you never thanked me the first time how you gonna thank me again

  • I wish my case came with those tool-less brackets. I'm constantly dropping screws and losing them in the case whenever I'm mounting drives. And especially the motherboard.

That could cause a short, and it's such a pain in the ass getting the screws out of the case. :-(

  • tool-less is great....

  • @CPUMaster500 This is common and happens to me too. To solve the problem, have both case side panels removed when building, and when a screw is dropped, try to move the case in order to drive the lost screw to an edge, and then catch it :-)

  • When you build systems for your clients do you offer any kind of warranty?

  • yes, i do give a 90day warranty on new builds. this is a limited warranty. and all manufacturers warranties are included with the new builds. tks for your comments.

  • Excellent instruction for those looking to get into DIYS PC build. Will there be any follow up vids on "stabilizing a rig" once the build is done, perhaps? Keep up the good work!

  • yes, i will be doing a video on stabilizing your system... it show be done in about a week

  • ths for watching and commenting...

  • @PCsbyDesign how much time does it take to build it and how it cost

  • my 2 cents... This goes to anyone actually wanting to assemble their own PC: Learn from a decent and reputable instructor.. and there are plenty of those even on YouTube... Only experienced technicians know how to play with a motherboard outside the chassis... Installing your CPU prior to putting your mobo in? You are SOOO asking to bend it... been there.. done that... don't recommend it.. It should go like this: 1: install the motherboard, 2: the cpu, 3: the PSU, 4,5,6..149: install the OS

  • @kji198045 No, Nein, Nada! Of course you have to install the CPU prior you put the mobo in, because you have to put on the thermal paste and the cooler. Most of today's coolers come with a mounting system which requires you to assembly it both from the front side of the mobo and the back side of the mobo! Few cases have a window which allows you to access the back side of the mobo to mount the cooler. While today's coolers became huge ones, to my opinion you put the cooling system first :)
