This game is a good horror game all of you who are complaining dont seem to understand this... The reason it is so dark is because when things are dark its scarier simple as that. The reason the flashlight isnt bright enough is to add to the effect as well. Even the bad controls are meant to make it more scary. This game is pretty damn scary I think it was extremely well made. While I do think the find the key gameplay was kinda meh... That wasnt the point in the game anyway. It was to scare u

I love the films, they are my favorite Japanese horror films (or horror films in general). And I know the game is extremely short but it still fun to play. If you are a true fan of the films you should keep the game. I kept it and still play it even though I already completed it. It still manages to get you nervous. And for anyone who underrates this game can go and **** themselves.

i think this might be good if your trying to have a scary night with friends, might watch a few movies, and then might play your rented game to get in a bit of more scare, since the gameplay is so bad get a person who doesn't really care abut that stuff, most of my friends do so i would be the one playing, hell i'll even play a game with the worst game mechanics if it'll give me a good scare or has a great story.

There's a secret 5th chapter.

Although this game has its flaws, I'm a really big Ju-On/Grudge fan, and it succeeds in giving scares and having fun.

Also you didn't mention anything about the items or 2nd player interactivity. This game deserves a higher rating, In my opinion.

I think the graphics should have been rated higher it was suppose to be dark, also your enjoyment was really low it was only two hours but during your playthrough it sounded like you enjoy it

You didn't finish this game...You didn't even cover the Picture piece collection aspect of your mission in this game. There are "5 levels" not 4, you never earned level 5......You just rushed through the game, and never collected any picture pieces...This game may be short, but once you start actually fine tooth combing your way back over old ground, you find NEW scares and a sense of dread knowing you are on a suicide mission just to find an other piece to the puzzle, so you can unlock stage 5

Lol sorry the gameplay didn't offer enough for me to even play the 5th stage or even give a shit enough about it. It's a decent rent to get a few scares but this is more of a interactive movie then a game and not even a good one at that. This is the definition of a rental game at best.

I would say, if you are a collector of strange games and if Duration Length, and Stiff Pointer controls don't scare you, buy it because it may open the door for more longer better controlled competitors. As it is now, there is no competition for this game, any other game allows weapon usage or some sort of inventory. It's a simulator Haunted house that grabs at you.If Friday the 13th or Freddy get a new game that would not be a Haunted house sim, there would be weaponry for you.

Everyone who loves video games need to stay far away from this game not because it's scary (it not) but the horrible horrible control. The controls are the scariest thing in this game because it's so unresponsive and wonky. Save yourself some money and frustration and If you really really must play this game, rent it.
