This may be a nublet question but what is the combonation to switch out. Because I try to use Sonic Boom as Guile but it just switches characters out.

Well the original disc and case are priceless for true fans. The online play for the DLC versions is gonna be great, but if I ever come across MvC2 case and disc I'd snatch it up in a heart beat.
This is hardly the "original" disc. It was a port for PS2 and Xbox only years after it came out for Dreamcast. Now THAT is a precious gem right there (one that I'm proud to own).

Ryu isn't a great character in this game and you should get hit as much as you did fighting abyss. Abyss is a total pushover if you know when to block and when to attack. You can easily beat abyss without losing a character. Single player is a joke.

I've only perfected the last boss with cable but geez even with those characters you shouldn't even lose one hehe. Why would you dragon punch abyss? jab, short, short forward, jump, jab short, short, forward, jump would end it quickly too.
on the boss which is the last stage i use wolvewerin (sunting like that), ryu, and cable so far i manageed to bet the first two forms of the boss cuz im inxperianced and it was my first time getting that far on on the first form u dont need a shooter but t would be wize to have a close combat
exactly! I have it on dreamcast and it costs way less on that system now than it does on ps2 and xbox...and this dude playing against Abyss does not know what the hell he doing; you can easily beat him without losing any of your characters.
For a character who isn't really that strong in the comics (and extremely weak in x-men legends 2), he was pretty tough in this game. However his 2nd form is the weakest because one tag team super move (depending on which 3 people you have at that time) could most likely take him out. Either that or do severe damage to him.
Does the xboxlive version that i just downloaded have an ending as well?

Venom : Strong Long Range Attacks
SabreTooth : To beat'em in hand to hand combat quickly.

Ryu isn't a great character in this game and you should get hit as much as you did fighting abyss. Abyss is a total pushover if you know when to block and when to attack. You can easily beat abyss without losing a character. Single player is a joke.

I've only perfected the last boss with cable but geez even with those characters you shouldn't even lose one hehe. Why would you dragon punch abyss? jab, short, short forward, jump, jab short, short, forward, jump would end it quickly too.

on the boss which is the last stage i use wolvewerin (sunting like that), ryu, and cable so far i manageed to bet the first two forms of the boss cuz im inxperianced and it was my first time getting that far on on the first form u dont need a shooter but t would be wize to have a close combat

exactly! I have it on dreamcast and it costs way less on that system now than it does on ps2 and xbox...and this dude playing against Abyss does not know what the hell he doing; you can easily beat him without losing any of your characters.

Aw if only Jean Grey/Phoenix was in this game. I miss this game too btw. I had it for Dreamcast. I'll probably get it for PS2.

For a character who isn't really that strong in the comics (and extremely weak in x-men legends 2), he was pretty tough in this game. However his 2nd form is the weakest because one tag team super move (depending on which 3 people you have at that time) could most likely take him out. Either that or do severe damage to him.
