yah you can make money, see now what you do is sell the hide, depending on the gator and how many tags were issued for the year determines how much money people will pay for your gator hide, but lately the gators really havent been pullin the big money, i remember 2 years ago a 12 foot gator would earn you roughly 450 bucks, but this past season the same size gator would only get you around 150 bucks, so it also depends on the economy and whos buying

Hey man nice vid. I went gator hunting in october and harvested a 13 footer it was 521 LBS. I didnt use a bang stick though. I harpooned it and stabbed rite behind the head and it killed the gator instintly.
