The Dead Republic isn't Doyle at his best, Henry appears to have some form of untold Alzheimers disease as the ridiculously unbelieveable elements which frankly blighted 'Oh,Play That Thing' continue. A promising trilogy petered out for me into an utterly forgetable missed oppurtuinity. I hope Doyle gets back to telling those magnificent tales of modern life which made his name sooner rather than later.
