I love how you nail the AC/DC solos :) Even though it's not exactely the same as the original... that means you have made your own version, and not a copycat :P You're extremely talented Pigalle :) Greetings from Norway :)
I LOVE this solo. How it escalates based on 4 single note "jumps".... I am going to dissect this solo, and see exactly which relative notes they are (octave, up a 5th, etc) B/c they work so well....
A common technique, but, this is just an example where the pivot points are just so stark. He hangs on those notes so long...they basically ARE the solo.
hi great job u did better than my down payent blues lol have a watch please comment i played that higher up the thret bourd tho and im only 14 and ive only just started playing the guitar today i dint do the solo i just did the backround bit behind the solo lol i havent learnt the solo yet as i said this is the first thing ive learnt about guitars and playing
i haven't got the same tab about the solo part. Indeed, i think it's a liittle bit different in the Bon's version! But you have a good and fast "finger moving" and i love that! Did you use tab for this song, or did it only on listening to the live?
powerage is probably the most under rated album of all time...definatly my favourite they ever realised...and is that brian i hear singing?...so its live eh?...thats crazy i havent heard him do that song in awhile...but ya anyways one of the best songs from the best album...nicely done
Down Payment Blues is my absolute favorite too! I never thought I'd find another person who liked that song as much as me. The solo in that song is unbelievable, and the power chords are full of energy. You did a great job playing it.
The other person brought up a good point though, that is Brian singing Down Payment Blues so where the hell did you get that?! lol Don't keep us wondering let us know! :)
I'm savin up for a gibson SG...At first when i saw it rite away im like..this guy is just faking the fingering...cause it looked like you were doing pwr cords too high and too low but then i looked at the tab and it's right so im like...ok..you're good
Awesome job

Awesome, pat on the back sir! Only one comment. Why use a new version of the song? Bon version is 100% better.
Great guitar mate.
iowdave 2 years ago
well, that's your opinion. maybe Diego likes the new version better than bon's version.

You seem to give a metal feel to the song, but you played with feeling, and you have fantastic vibrato. Great job!

Why don't people include their faces in videos? No one will know who you are if they only marvel you from neck down.
