You don't need to cut the roof to make it a convertable. Twist the spare tire holder clockwise 90 degrees and that unlocks the roof. Then slide the roof up and toward the rear of the rig.

Just realized I said the suspension is a 4 link when in reality it is a 3 link since the upper link has a single mounting point on the axle.
