  • Over 100,000 people left Dayton because it was no longer a safe place to live, work, raise a family or educate children. Had nothing to do with jobs as most dead beats in Dayton would not work if you gave them a job as they prefer drugs & goverment handouts over exersion. The number one business in Dayton is the illegal drug trade & next comes breaking & entering. If you live in Dayton & really want to do something to help fight crime I suggest you & your family move to Detroit or Chicago. LOL

  • Oh, I thought everyone might have been cheering because no one got shot there THAT DAY!! LOL

  • GO DRAGONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Im a new Dayton resident and its definitely a dying city :(

  • I moved from Dayton about 12 years ago. Lived there all my life and loved it. But when I go back and visit maybe 3 or 4 times a year, it has sure changed. Its sad to me i would love to see the old Dayton like it use to be. I can remember so much good the city had to offer. I lived there between 1960 to 2000

  • thats why i moved

  • @ atlanta285atl I've lived in Dayton practically my whole life. The cost of living is low, there are plenty of entertainment options, such as: the Oregon district, Riverscape, the multitude of performing arts varieties. A Montessori school is almost completed across the river, a new bicycle hub has recently been built (Dayton is now a Bronze level bike friendly community) along with extensive new bike lanes on many streets and the old Mendelson are being renewed. I love Dayton!

  • @TheSokodelic I love Dayton too!

  • @TheSokodelic I love Dayton , Oh as well

  • @TheSokodelic I love Dayton , Oh as well

  • dayton, ohio was a place to raise a family. Now, its a place where people dont want change and prefer to settle for what they already have. If you visit a city in the south like macon, ga, or greensboro, nc you'll find development and growtrh throughout the city. Not the case in Dayton. People there are scared of change. Therefore, I encourage people to look at cities in states like North Carolina, Georgia, and Florida, where there is population growth and a better economy .

  • dayton sucks ive lived here 35 yrs and its not getting better its getting worse

  • we're not Detroit!

  • Good riddance to the big companies....they had been slowly pulling out for years. By the time GM closed most of the jobs were already gone. We're in a new period, a renaissance to reinvent our city. Smaller, innovative companies are sprouting up in Tech Town, contractors at the base, and even the company I work for, Atomic Interactive, has been able to grow by offering innovative ideas and focusing on customer service. That's Dayton's future!

  • Good Riddance?

Are you nuts? The Big Companies created small companies and supported small local business.

GM was Outsourcing When they were reporting Record profits.

Thanks to Globallists, Corporatists and Zionists. And the 2nd highest tax rates in the country.

Be careful what you wish for, mate.

  • Dayton was the first place I went to in the States. Hope they recover soon**==

  • go dragons

  • If you are a unemployed factory worker in Dayton you might as well forget it. There are no factories left-and nobody wants to hire you to do anything different if all you have ever done is factory work.

  • stp dayton..and get married

  • golf bag tags. just the kind of quality idea we need in these times sir
