Hey man im a bit confused with this all. I want to buy the Hercules mp3 E2, and i want to use it with headphones for previewing etc, but also i want to plug my laptop in to my speakers to play out loud through them. I need some sort of external soundcard? I was thinking about getting a cheap USB one for the headphones, but can you use 2 of these at the same time using Hercules mp3 e2? so i would have 2 usb external soundcards 1 forheadphones, and 1 for the speakers? would this work? thanks :)

@FenFennHD you just need to have two outputs, the configuration is with the virtual dj, normally you can use two sound cards but im not sure becuse i sold mine to buy something more functional than this,like behringer or else , its 60 dollars more, but it worth it,and forget about the jogwheels, nobody uses them and its terrible to scratch with a tiny shit. :D Hope i helped!

But you can plug in the Headphones into the pc and use the CUE funktion of VDJ.

But you need a second soundcard or a 5.1soundcard for that.

@DjEssence3 Go to ts.hercule.com its the tecnical suport, there search the drivers, then in the squarres you should find the deck name, the search the tracktor driver...

I think the deck just works with the 1.2 versions or something like that,you'll se at the website.

@minh10091995 I had the same problem...1 you should configure your souncard to work with al the outputs..2 insert the headphones into the black hole(sounds funny) 3. In virtual dj go to configuration and select the 5.1 option then,lower select the option that says....master-front headphones-back...something like that..sorry that I don't put it clear...I don't hAve a pc near... Thanks very much, I'd bought a USB soundcard but the outputs weren't working properly then I configured the soundcard to use 2 soundcards (I forgot the laptop had it's own- doh!) this means I can monitor 'Cue' through the laptop.

I was worrying because until then I was having big problems with the sound but it sounds great now. I'm really get the hang of it, it's a lot of fun!!

@freshnblessed1 u have to go to config then mapper then at the top left u will see a drop dow box with keyboard written in it on the right hand side theres button its an options menu wen it opens at the top it should say scan for new divices click it and if u have ur mixer plugged in it will pick it up and ur ready to go
