  • this is kind of scary

  • Chinese government has been killing 1,200,000 Tibetans since 1950. However, they have loudly announced we have been ruling over Tibet peacefully. Who can believe what China said?

Many dictatorship countries have started pro-democracy movements whose name are the Jasmine revolution or Tunisian revolution, 茉莉花革命 in Chinese.

When China will be a democracy? Where are brave students who rose up against Chiese government when the Tiananmen Massacre occurred?

  • While awesome and strikingly beautiful, this piece is not about Tara and the less about her 21 emanations but is "Calling the Lama from afar".

  • wake up GOP!

  • I think maker of this video should better change the video sound because this are sacred chants and right in the middle of the first part of the chanting the video stops.. even though many of you would not understand but these are sacred chantings and should be handled with care and respect so please change the sound to something that fits better like Om tare tutare ture soha please thank you

  • so good !! :-)

  • great feelings after hearing this mantra chanting

  • what is the name of the one who carries Prana from where it is concentrated to where it is needed?

  • .....

  • Many blessings from this TARA

  • Where did you get this BEAUTIFUL artwork for your video?

    Namaste

  • It sounds to me like the chanting is Calling the Lama or Guru Yoga. Lots of "Lama khyen no" in there.

  • @rybpo7 Yes its cald calling the lama from afar by Lama Gyurme it is indeed the prayer of calling the lama/guru from afar.

  • @Yamarukun I don't understand why this vid has pics of Tara and the title w/ Tara's name in it? Is it calling Tara? Sorry, just trying to understand.

  • @rybpo7 No idea either.. maybe just because he/she liked the chanting and therefore used it.

the chanting that you hear is mostly used by the Kagyu linege.. the Kagyu linege is of the (HH) 17th Karmapa.

  • @rybpo7 Part of the reason may be because in Tibetan chants, her name is Drolma. Sometimes she is called by her name of an earlier lifetime known as Yeshe.

  • i am blessed by the sacred herb as well. (i am high) - laymen translation. One.

  • @dingleberrys09 for me,to be high is to sit on the edge of creation watching as all things rise and fall.

  • @bongfodder beautiful analogy. i support your journey thru your world.

  • Does anybody know tibetan ?

  • Thankyou for this gift. Namaste.

  • I don't usually listen to this kind of music, but it made me feel tingly inside.

  • @SteveCentra That means it's bad and demonic. That's called God.;)

  • @LadyArkalya i'm not religious, just tingly

  • @LadyArkalya Worse than to be in sin is to commit hypocrisy. I doubt you avoid all things evil and follow every Christian or any other precept to the bone.

Even being on this website itself could be considered a sin. Do you really want to be the one to cast the stone? Others will cast equal stones upon you that way.

  • Je reconnais le chant de l'excellent Lama Gyurme, Maître de chant et qui a (ou est toujours) supérieur du Monastère Kagyu de Vincennes en France.

  • What is the meaning of the lotus flower as a symbol in Tibetan Buddhism? My name means "lotus" which is why I'm wondering...

  • @xRinoasis In a way the lotus flower describes the path to enlightment. The roots of the lotus are in the mud and symbolyses the material life, the stem goes through the water and is about rising above the material life (purification) through practicing the Buddhist teachings (experience), then finally there's the beautiful flower (purity). An open lotus flower is fully enlightened. Blue lotus=wisdom, red=compassion, white=spiritual perfection&mental purity, pink= Buddha. U have a nice name =)

  • @Dutchtreatz Just so! Just so!

Moreover the lotus seeds as it blossoms and this signifies that the cause = the effect and when you simply decide on an action, through thought, feeling, or habit, then your results are generated in your heart already before even acting. In changing these through practice you master the dharma....

Dutchtreatz is a very good teacher, to him you should all listen!!

  • @xRinoasis

Lotus = eternal beauty... i think you heared that before.

  • @MoGotMilk No, I haven't heard that before. But thanks anyway.

  • @xRinoasis

Then I don't think lotus is your real name.

  • I feel very close to Tara. She helps me in so many ways. When I feel lonely, I am comforted by her presence. She fills you with great clarity and a sense of balance. She truly is worthy of respect and love. OM TARE TUTTARE TURE SOHA

  • Listening to this really makes me miss my lama/guru. He's gone abroad on holiday and will return in a few months.. I miss doing these practices at the center. It doesn't feel the same without his guidance.

When everyone were sad he was leaving, he smiled compassionately and said, "But you should be happy for me, I am going on holiday."

    =)

  • WHAT IS THE POINT OF THE ELECTRONIC BACKING ? I THINK IT IS PATRONISING AND DILUTES THE TIBETAN CULTURE

  • @birdandthe

does it matter, this probably reaches a wider audience, and nothing wrong with that

plenty of spoken mantras out there

and im sure the maker of this video didnt have patronizing in mind

i for one enjoy this :)

  • peace to you all on this lovely afternoon

  • "At the time of midnight, the Bodhisattva saw clear light, then he saw in a single instant the three states of existence, the past, the present and the future. Purified by the clear light and sitting under the tree of enlightenment, he conquered all the devils."

Thus was the Way revealed, thus was the Path of Flowers made clear to all humanity. Thank you! Namaste

  • An9selSwift excellent post! I just picked up the CD [The Lamas Chants] and this chant is one of the tracks. It's truly remarkable, the power of the Tibetan Buddhists chants, and the rarity to encounter these teachings in this present life. Om Mani Padme Hum~ blessings and peace for all sentient beings.

  • Sometimes im too lazy to make merit, my father i work with is a good guy, but he still speaks negative and its very harsh to my mind, so i try to practice patience and forberance but my own ignorance still makes anger arise within me, time and good deeds is the recipe for Realizations i think.

  • Try to keep really good ethics, and your mind will be calmer. Then, other people won't bother you so much, you might even stop seeing them as crazy!

  • My dads the same way. thank you for the advice.

  • You are very kind to post this video. Thank you.

  • is the blue tara the medicine buddha?

  • yes she is name is MANAL god of medicine

  • @erborhartsaga Please do not confuse Bodhisattva as God

  • There are several Blue Taras.

  • man... im confused... isnt there a link between the gods?

    btw, Aum + Amen = power=D

  • This is a huge subject, requiring more than 500 characters. You can find the 21 Taras prayer online that has 4 verses for each of the 21 describing their name and purpose. Generally, they come in 5 different colors representing the 5 elements. The colors also connect with their activities. Blue actually equals wrathful activities, as well as corresponding to the wind element. You can see Tara as a goddess, as an archetype, or even an ideal version of yourself.

  • thanks fpr posting

  • Namaste brother/sister An9elSwift. Buddha's teachings are meant to free the soul of the ignorant. Here in Philippines, there's no documented antagonism from the majority of the Catholic state religion but it is sad to hear that only the fewest among the educated know about the Enlightened One, which I am among them. I have followed the faith since 13 through self study and now I am 21. But I need confirmation from a monk. I'm looking forward to my trip to Thailand and have me confirmed.

  • Could you please tell me where can I download this song?

  • it is not tara praises. it is lama khyenno - in english: calling lama from afar. beautiful song. greetings from poland
