If your jobs is making ads that tell women to buy tampons you don't play on the same field as these guys so your criticism is not valid. This ad shows me a cool car and by being funny, improves my perception of Chevy as a brand which is what the "Chevy Runs Deep" campaign seems to be designed to do. Maybe I wont buy a Camero, but I may buy a Chevy, cause from what I gather, its not a brand, its a tradition.

There are confusing and conflicting messages in this ad: 1) unless you're a dude who just graduated college, this car isn't for you. Or, 2) am I supposed to believe the "dad" is driving the Camaro? He might be in the demographic to purchase that car, but I don't believe for a second he's taking that back and forth to the accounting office.

Well shot, and the main character is great. But this ad fails one of the main tenets of an *effective* commercial: believability.

@TimBurtMedia Like the strong history of believability and target audience placement that Superbowl ads are famous for. Budweiser is marketed to talking frogs and chameleons which are believable. Last years Doritos ad comes to mind when the pug broke the glass door down, believable, because he wanted the chip. I found out that Doritos are for pugs from that ad and I have not had one since. Point being, Superbowl commercials are no place for humor, they should be as direct as they can be.
