Haddin has got to be one of the best Wicket-Keeper Batsmen in the game today. Especially in the West Indies and Pakistan test matches this year he played very well. He batted very well he also took some brilliant catches
@sailtheseaofcheese Yeah it helped with the attack that was bowling for the 1st half of his career. How about you look at byes. I know that after 62 innings in the field he had given away 383 Byes averaging 6.18 byes per innings with only 1 match with 0 byes (when you consider the low opponet scores for amny of those it's not that good) and a highest of 36 Byes in a match. Gilly on the other hand at the same time 62 inningshad let though 201 Byes an average of 3.25 Byes per innings.
@tangles01 Gilly has 2 matches with 0 byes at that point and a highest of only 14 byes. (Haddin has 9 higher bye totals in the same amount of innings). This is a pure stat pretty much un affected by the bowlers ability to get edges or have the batsman stumped. And I am certain that gillies numbers when compared to Healy or Marsh, even Sagakara or Mc Cullum as far as buys may not be quite as good as he wasn't a great keeper, a very good one and brilliant batsman.

I'll think you'll find he would be the 3rd or 4th behind sangakara and mccullum because he is not up to par with keeping but hes an alrite batsman. he lets far to many easy leg side spiners go past him and I've seen in one match where he missed the ball 3 times and let it hit the helme and they were straight balls that i could catch to a spinner!
Sure they aren't the best Test Batsmen but their glove work compensates for that. Not too mention the fact that in 15 matches Haddin has only made TWO 50's and a century.
Haddin isn't a great and well regarded player like McCullum and Dhoni are either.

haddin isnt a bad wicket-keeper. i mean he's gotten 67 dismissals in 18 games. Thats an average of 3.7
Try and find a current keeper in world cricket who has a better average.
Dhoni's is 2.9, Sangakkara's is 2.1, McCullum's is 3.2.
Only The record holder Mark Boucher has a greater average of 3.77

he has the best batting technique i have ever seen, and behind sangakarra he is the best wicket keeper batsman in the world in test cricket.

yeah i do agree his keeping has been quite sloppy recently! Quite annoying actually lol

he's shit. mccullum, sangakkara, and dhoni are all better players than him and are much better when it comes to sportsmanship.
