@c2pmsims1 actually, all the brawl victory themes (aside from ROB and G+W) are based on music from games they appeared in or starred in - for instance, Mario's theme is based around when you complete a level, and the Pokemon victory theme is based around the opening for the original pokemon game. ROB and Game+Watch are the only exceptions

I think the only Melee theme I prefer over the respective Brawl theme is Ness's victory.

I know it's to represent the series as a whole due to Lucas's inclusion, but come on, the soundstone melody was too epic to cut, at least put "Smiles and Tears" (the elongated version of the Soundstone melody) as stage music for Onett. D:

Only reason Snake is in brawl is because the Smash Bros. series head developer and Snake's creator are really good friends and Snake was gonna be in Melee because Snake's creator asked if he could, but the game was too far in development to add Snake to the roster. So to make up for it, Snake was added into brawl.
