  • what part of PA are you from because this highway looks really familiar is that 422?

  • @1987TransAmws6 No its 340. All the roads in PA look familiar :)

  • that thing sounds good

  • The LS1 swap is simple enough, but you have to make sure you have the computer, 02 sensors, TANK SENDING UNIT etc from the doner car to satisfy the referees here in California. The smog equipment has to match the engine, not the vehicle. Call the smog police BEFORE you do the swap...

  • @micktroup smog police?

  • is it costly to do the swap in cali? with smog law bullshit?

  • 2:11 Listen Damn it! That sign says 45 MPH... You're a dirty violator!! Sounds like you doubled it.

  • Hahaha...Nah. I was probably slowed down to 40ish before I loaded it up. The cut out is decieving. I basically wanted to go up the hill and load the motor in a higher gear to show how it sounded with the cut out. I know it wasnt too fast in the couple seconds I was doing it. There is an elem. school right there and cops all over, so I know where to behave in the hometown :)

  • I assume your running a T56 6 speed? How easy was it to swap the drivetrain? Did you have to mod the tranny crossmember? Different length drive shaft?

  • I have done a T-56 swap as well, its not that bad....

  • Yup. T56. Swapping the drivetrain was almost a bolt in affair. I ended up building my own trans crossmember for better exhaust clearance, but you can get pre-made ones that will fit. Drive shaft length is the same. Im running the aluminum one from the 4th gen donor car.

  • how much did it cost you man?

  • A lot. Well...I did a lot of extra work at the same time, so the cost of the actual swap got lost. You can do it fairly cheaply these days with the cost of the motors going down.

  • love the car love the engine

  • koo vid man umm can u tell me wat kind of rims u got on ur ride?

  • Sure man.... They are from a 2000 (i think) WS6 Trans AM. They are 17x9.5 and are polished aluminum.

  • damn thx i think ima have to bite ur style lol

  • Go for it man... I love those wheels. They light too. You can find full sets for really cheap. Mine came with almost brand new BFG KDWS tires too... keep your eyes on the car forums and ebay...they're out there.

  • didnt u need the adapter to put 4th gen wheels on
