t-maxx's are awsome but the only bad thing is they are prone to break the front and rear ends off, just cuz of the overall design but that doesnt make them a bad truck. i have a revo and a savage atm but i wanna get a tmaxx, maybe, but idk nice vid man happy hobbying.

@William19299 i dont think tmaxx is the most versatile truck by a long shot.....savage 5.9 out last tmaxx about 8 to 1.....and savage is way faster low end and top end....my friend got a new tmaxx and i got a used savage the same day.....he has got over 200 dollers in broken parts already...all i have got for mine is a metal spur gear...

Ive got a little bit newer TMaxx 3.3 and i take my rc car to the local skatepark. Its a lot of fun. These lil toys are pretty rugged. I pushed mine pretty hard and didnt break anything. Faster speed will get you in trouble though. I was in second gear and it was getting dark and I ran into a pole broke an A arm. Not a bad repair. I think just about 10 dollars for the aftermarket setup and I didnt break the shocks. I love these things. Lots of fun.

well it depends what you want to do with it, it can take a beating but the savage x is alot stronger, but the t-maxx is a good all around truck

After years its time to get a new rc car (not the nitro cars) and i´m wondering which one to choose. my favourite so far is the revo. but wht is the difference between revo/e-revo/t-maxx/e-maxx? the e-revo is water proof,right? i love the revo look..... would be cool if so coul help.

@BeyondAwesomeDude The revo would probably be your best bet, there is really no difference between the nitro and electric versions other than that one is nitro and the other is electric. Im pretty sure that all of the newer electric models from traxxas are waterproof too. the e-revo and e-maxx are too totally different trucks by the way, the e-revo is a racer and light basher, and the e-maxx is more of a basher than the revo but could also be race worthy with the right upgrades.

@jlsracer8 traxxas not durable? what are these guys douin tto there trucks that say this? so the cut the chasis ih half tape it with scotch tape then jump 20 ft in the are to pavement? cause my slash is 1/2 as durable as these trucks and i did a 6 foot jump to pavement 10-15 times and it only snaped the rear shock tower in half. cheap ($5) and easy to fix. get a T-MAXX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My t-maxx is old.....got the Hardcore Components 21 bigblock chassis..... RPM arms all the way around CF brake pads Strobe R/C slipper system and AKA city blocks for wheels....too bad hardcore isnt around anymore though

if u have dirt on it you will have to clean it off and look to see if your filter thingy has enough oil stuff on it or if its dirty wash it off then oil it anging and it should be good

again agreed brushless has more torque out of the hole,,,,but that leads to flippin on the roof everytime you touch the trigger.clutch shoes are ajustable and you can control the launce much nicer with nitro.

They do that with throttle and brake control. When your in the air if you hit the brakes your nose will go down and if you hit the throttle then your nose will go up. They do the same thing in motocross.

Definitely get a T-Maxx. I would suggest Revo even though its 60 dollars more for basically a different suspension setup. I am currently saving for a T-Maxx 3.3 after about 10 years of an electric stampede. but definitely the best brand to go is traxxas

I have an HPI Savage, and an Associated MGT, And i had a 2.5r Traxxas T-Maxx. The 2.5r in my t-maxx was an awesome motor. Easy to tune, and great power in the t-maxx. Probably one of the easiest motors to run i have had. Good video too!
