So how flat is the back side of the molded piece? Since its exposed the settling of the part material would determine its flatness..correct? This seems perfect for casting small stands, but the stands would only be as good as the flatness of their base.
I need to make bases for a game so basically 25 by 25 and 5mm in height max. Is this a good way to make molds for these bases? Is there a shop somewhere in Europe from where I can buy repro products?
We do not have a distributor in Europe at this time. You can contact our Corporate Office in Avon, Ohio (USA). You could use this method to make your mold for your prototype base, but it would depend on the material you would use for your base. We would not recommend Repro as it would probably be too brittle in thin sections.
I'm making a very complicated piece requiring a four piece mold that has to be a tiny bit flexible. It has threading and it has to be very accurate for an air tight seal. Also I need the plastic to be very strong and transparent. What would be the best chemicals to use for the mold, spray, and plastic? Please message this account back with your recommendations.
i have a question, so would you be able to do this same process when making halo armor? i've been wanting to make prop guns and armor or is there a diiferent way?
I'd a great molding material but some applicatioins don't require it, nor benefit from it. It's also very expensive. That said most of the stuff I do is molded with silicone.
hi great videos i was wondering if you would be able to help me. I'm wanting to take a mold of pot holes on the road is there anything you would recommend for getting the best results taking into consideration having to do it outside? sanders

Is this safe to cast my penis?

The type of mold would be determined by the size and shape of your pattern.
Please contact our technical service department for additional information.

hey how can i make mold of capital and brackets ...
heritagemukesh 6 months ago
The cast surface from a one piece mold would not be flat. Because of
volumetric shrinkage, the backside of the mold would be slightly concaved.
You could either machine the surface or do a two part mold to obtain a flat
surface.

The molds are durable as long as you use proper release procedures and don't beat it with a hammer.

is this mold very durable to withstand many epoxy resin casts?

@binny175
What material did you end up using for this? I am making a similar part with threads that needs a fairly tight seal.

Is this cheaper than using sillicone rubber?
77RZA 2 years ago
yes, but with silicone, you don't need to use release agents

Is this material solid once cast or is it flexible?

I'm trying to make an ODST armor for Halloween this year, will any resin work? And Epoxy Resin?
Also will all rubber molds work? I may make the battle rifle out of a certain special rubber mold.

Could I use those chemicals to make molds for pewter parts?

Disadvantages:
If on your mold it gets wider towards the bottem at any stage the end product wont come out XD

Seems like a pain in the ass. All the waxing and yadda. I'd rather pay a tad more for a silicon rubber to be honest.
